It's quite easy to make too. Just peel and cut them up and roast and puree, or don't peel but cut them up and roast them in the oven, scrape and puree it.

My local waitrose always have selection of pumpkins/squashes. My most favorite is Kabocha pumpkin. But if we don't have them, Butternut squash is my favorite alternative for pumpkin.
