My mother was adopted on the sixties so I have grown up with no information on one side, I only found out in my late teens she was adopted.

I always worry about the blond hair blue eyes thing as mine had this colouring. Looking at the files though that wasn't the reason they aren't with birth mum, and their hair is dark now.

To the person who says they don't agree with an adoption.. I find this an odd statement to make on a thread like this. I say that as a birth parent who has been affected by adoption. For my children adoption was the right thing to make sure they had stable upbringing.
