Why?

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:17

@Drogosnextwife two reasons: The first reason was my frown line and eye wrinkles (due to squinting/sensitivity to the sun). Second reason was insuffered with migraines, my DM had botox because of her migraines and they helped, so i thought it was worth a try.

Wow. Do you feel that being young is all you have to offer??

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:21

@RueCambon what exactly do you mean by that question? Elaborate pleaseConfused

Has it helped the migraines?

treeofwhispers · 23/10/2019 19:27

How does Botox work to help migraines?

RueCambon · 23/10/2019 19:28

Do you feel that all you have to recommend yourself to the world is youth

I think it is a reasonable question! You said you'd answer 🙂

treeofwhispers · 23/10/2019 19:29

Have you thought about just wearing good quality dark glasses instead of having repeated Botox injections?

CalmFizz · 23/10/2019 19:30

Do you use a medical practitioner or a beautician?

Eleanorbellanor · 23/10/2019 19:31

Good for you OP. I’m a tiny bit older than you and i know loads of girls in their early 20s who’ve had little bits and bobs done. If you want it done then why shouldn’t you! People are always way too quick to judge

DaisyChainsForever · 23/10/2019 19:31

Did it help with the migraines? Does it hurt?

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:33

Has it helped the migraines?
it certainly has. I used to get them atleast twice a week and now not even once a month!

OP posts:
iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:33

*'Has it helped with the migraines?'

was supposed to be in bold! Angry

OP posts:
iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:34

*How does botox help with migraines?

I dont actually know scientifically how, ill have to ask my nurse!

OP posts:

Of course not: Intelligence, loyalty, being a single parent and working damn hard all comes in my favour. But you always get one person on threads like this, if you have any more questions ill happily answer! I just wanted you to elaborateSmile

OP posts:
RueCambon · 23/10/2019 19:38

Question 2, can you answer my question 1 OP?
Im not judging. Im ASKING

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:39

*Have you thought about just wearing good quality dark glasses instead of having repeated Botox injections?
*
Thats an option, but it just wasn't for me or something i would feel comfortable doing.

OP posts:
RueCambon · 23/10/2019 19:42

Sigh!

The question is not complicated. I don't know why you said "AMA" 🤔

MrsDimmond · 23/10/2019 19:43

There must be no spaces before or after the to make it bold**

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:46

A medical practitioner and would never go to anybody else. She is extremely clever and knows exactly what she is doing. She is also my brothers oncology nurse. Truelly amazing woman.

thank you, exactly! I don't regret it. Its a treat for myself that i thoroughly enjoy getting!

Did it help with the migraines? Does it hurt?

Yes it helped with my migraines a lot. No, it doesnt hurt! I am petrified kf needles and was really frightened to get it done at first but i couldn't even feel it and my nurse didn't use numbing cream. It is actually relaxing!

Back in the day women were told silicone breast implants were totally safe. This proved to be completely untrue and many women had catastrophic health problems.

Now women are told Botox is safe. Aren’t you concerned that history will repeat itself?

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:49

@RueCambon

I have answered you. Smile. Any need in the capital letters? actually carry on, its amusing.

RueCambon · 23/10/2019 19:50

So q3, are u looking for validation not offering to answer questions....

Feel free to answer the question if you are brave enough to think about it for a moment

iamtinkabella · 23/10/2019 19:52

I suppose deep down there will always be a worry of history repeating itself. But i suppose you could say that about many things such as the foods we now eat could contain chemicals that cause cancer etc that we may not find out until later on in life. We can't avoid everything in the hope of keeping ourselves safe. If that makes any sense whatsoever hahaSmile
