sherbetmelon · 24/09/2019 10:00

Think you've got the wrong topic. This is maybe suited to chat?

But I am 25 and love crafts, cutting and layering paper to make pictures and scrap booking mainly.

tonimialewisx · 24/09/2019 10:12

@yellowallpaper oh god really i wasn't sure what topic it was 😂 can I delete the thread and restart?

Just report your own thread and ask for it to be moved. It really doesn't matter though.

I'm 32, enjoy running, walking, gardening, baking, knitting and sewing.

Bananalanacake · 24/09/2019 10:19

I am 43 and collect Lego minifigures. I used to have lots of other hobbies but they fell by the wayside when I had 2 kids.

BillywigSting · 24/09/2019 10:21

I'm 28 (29 on Friday) and I like to crochet, garden, bake, draw, read, and study (currently classical mythology, was previously pop astro physics - star formation and black holes etc without getting too deep into the maths, more just reading up on the various theories, fascinating stuff).

My job is not intellectually demanding in the slightest and without the study I feel like my brain turns to mush.

paddingtonbearsmarmalade · 24/09/2019 10:23

I am 26 & bake, go to dance classes, read, enjoy cooking & do a bit of boxing. My bf is 30 and games, plays drums & guitar, and is in a few bands!

sherbetmelon · 24/09/2019 10:28

@Bananalanacake same with me, I used to be an avid baker and cook but just don't get the time anymore :(

sherbetmelon · 24/09/2019 10:29

@tonimialewisx I take a lot of photos so have started making them into books. It can be a fairly cheap hobby if you get supplies online, from the range, the works etc. Rather than craft shops or hobbycraft

Clayplease · 24/09/2019 10:33

Ooh I like this thread! I'm 39 and love my pottery evening class - making bowls, plates and cups for our house. Knitting, audiobooks, baking vegan cakes and puddings, painting, anything crafty. Learning new skills is great.

yellowallpaper · 24/09/2019 11:05

Haha. Stick with it. It's nice to be subversive in a while!

38 and I love ice skating, sewing, digital painting, watercolour painting.

tonimialewisx · 24/09/2019 16:52

Bumppppp

Anymore hobbies or interests guys.
Loving all these ideas I may take up a baking course or something at a local church xx

45, running, reading, cackling with friends in moments of precious babysitting. From time to time also knitting, embroidery, Lino cut printing, and sewing clothes for DC. Am half considering joining a WI but only if I can find one that's quite "make things" oriented!

littlemeitslyn · 24/09/2019 20:17

70 Reading, am dram, garden

tastylancs · 24/09/2019 20:27

madcatladyforever · 24/09/2019 20:33

I'm 57 and work full time but have a lot of hobbies. I make half and quarter scale dollshouses from kits and do all the interior and furniture. Currently doing a Halloween themed one.
I'm part of the pagan community so I'm always off doing stuff with them, marking the seasons and days out.
Cats, love cats and volunteer for the Cats Protection League.
Reading, knitting, cross stitch, country walking and walking groups, writing short stories. I'd like to write a book one day.
I collect antique occult items so I'm always off to auction houses and antique shops to find things to add to my collection.
I love gardening and now have a brand new garden to create as I'm moving to a new home.
I'm doing a three year pretty intensive course around one of my hobbies.
I have other hobbies but those are the main ones.

Phycadelicsilhouette · 28/09/2019 01:53

I’m 31 and I’d say the hobbies I can think of now are...

Reading and researching/learning
Writing
Drawing
Painting
Making things
Music (a necessity, not just a hobby!)
Cooking
Walking
Exploring new places
Geocaching
Mathematical problem solving (yes I am that sad that I would class this as a hobby 🤣)
gardening is a new and emerging one

Lots more but these are my main ones I think.

Spending time with my DC and my cats are my absolute favourite but I don’t know if they class as hobbies or just life!

I often become interested in a new hobby, obsess over it and then it falls by the wayside as I’m not very good at it and don’t have the time to dedicate or it didn’t turn out to be right for me.

Ooh I also really want to learn the sax, will stick to that one once I’ve saved enough to buy one! 🎷

kittensarecute · 28/09/2019 02:32
