I worked overseas for a package holiday company for 4 years in the 00’s in Greece, in the time before Facebook or Tripadvisor and where many people still booked holidays from a brochure -ask me anything (except what time your coach pick up for your flight home is- that’s on the board in reception!!!!)

What kind of clients? Vomiting, leery teenagers?

What kind of clients? In the majority families, couples from the UK. We also had specialist rooms for disabled travellers, and I also covered the 18-30 style bar crawls and apartments.
The grown adults are much more likely to be lairy and vomiting in the quiet, family style accommodations. The teens tended to be in the lively accommodations where all night parties, destruction on rooms, general bad behaviour is expected. Teens tend to get scared easily if you tell them off. Middle aged alcoholics, abusers etc have no fear of authority and won’t be told to behave by a rep or hotel owner.
