Getting married tomorrow in Cyprus

Hi

I'm getting married tomorrow in Cyprus and I created an AMA thread because it would have been useful to me to help make my decision where to get married. So it might be useful for others.

Also because I did promise a poster I would let them know what the TUI SENSATORI hotel was like and I can't find the thread so this covers that if they see this.

So ask away if anyone wants to know.

What is the hotel like? Hope your wedding day was fantastic

What did you wear? I always imagine it must be hard to choose something not too hot!

We decided to go away as I have a massive family and he has none really.

The people I really cared about, parents and sisters came and some of our friends. My auntie couldn't come which was a shame but it was commitments at home which she couldn't avoid.

Neither of us wanted the fuss of a big day and the cost. This was still expensive but we had a two week holiday with everyone and it was lovely seeing everyone everyday and everyone getting involved and seeing people who hadn't really spent any time together getting to know each other and all having a laugh together.

It wasn't a romantic getaway by any means. We had the two kids in with us but we were happy with that as we've lived together a long time and we get weekends away a few times a year. We had a weekend on our own when we got back.

The hotel was amazing. It was
Literally no stress at all. They took care of everything we asked and I couldn't fault anything. Our wedding planner was amazing.

I chose a dress from a
Chinese website and had it altered. It was lovely. Very simple. Sweetheart neckline with a bit of a fuller skirt. Corseted.

Ended up scrapping it and I bought a dress the week before purely by chance from Krisp! It was originally going to be my night time dress in case I got too hot but I was so comfortable in it and it looked fab so I wore that all day and night. It was a one shoulder white dress with a slight train and I had a really long floor length veil.

I'd deffo recommend our hotel and if you want a small intimate with no fuss affair.
