Because we bought a 3 bedroom house - in Teddington this money would have got us a one bed flat. I love the area but couldn't do it.

It was £315,000 but it needs basically everything doing. I love DIY and manual labour so I'm very excited to get stuck in.

The third room is a box and I'm trying to convince DP to knock down a wall and have 2 good sized rooms instead.

Yes, there's a KFC. I don't eat meat so I've not been in there myself though.

Bargain. Don't get rid of the third bedroom unless you're planning on staying forever though, you'll knock a ton off the value.
