Just that-I found out I was pregnant on the Monday-gave birth on the Saturday (stood up on the landing!) hes now 19-AMA

Oh wow! Did you have a bump? Did you have missed periods? Have you any other children and were there signs you were pregnant with those children?

I am always amazed and fascinated by these stories. Not that I doubt them but I was so very obviously pregnant when I was expecting that I just cannot imagine it!!

Also fascinated - I do know someone who got light 'periods' as she was on the pill and didn't realise she was pregnant until she was 3 or 4 months I think.

Did you put on weight?

At the time I had 2 others (he’s number 3) yes to periods but they went a bit haywire I had an hour of the worst morning sickness ever-I thought I was going to die lol I put on about 4lb (he was 8lb10oz so I must have lost a tiny bit) and I had such bad pain in my back and legs I couldn’t walk-which is why I went to the doctors and found out that Monday I was having him scan on the Wednesday and gave birth on the Saturday

Oh my goodness! How did you cope with the shock?

I’m still getting over it lol I had really bad pnd after having him and I think that was partly shock

Sorry yes I knew I was having the first two within about 6-8 weeks morning sickness was a giveaway lol everything was normal with them the 3 pregnancies after him where just like the first two it was just him I didn’t know I was pregnant with

I love these stories! my boobs are my pregnancy giveaway- they kill and go up about 4 sizes. I'm guessing you just had no early symptoms?
Thank God you found out just in time. I always think how terrifying it must be to be in labour and give birth without knowing about being pregnant (that's not to diminish your shock at finding out)

Did anyone say afterwards that they'd suspected you were but didn't say anything?

Normally my boobs get sore and about 4 sizes bigger lol it’s one of the giveaways but with him I didn’t grow at all nobody did say a word so if they did suspect anything they didn’t say to me-everyone was just as shocked as me-my aunt fainted when she found out lol

I gave birth stood up on the landing!i was in agony all the way through my ‘pregnancy so the penny didn’t drop I was in labour I woke up about 4:45 am ran a bath and that didn’t help but suddenly REALLY needed to go to the loo-pushed-nothing-staggered onto the landing and as I screamed ‘I really wanna f*cking push’ he shot out onto the landing floor!
