Seems since attending recent baby classes my age range of children is quite rare. Often people ask how it differs to having children close in age. If you're considering another baby with older children & you have any questions ask away.... Smile

Do the older ones naturally want to help with the baby? It must be loads easier if they do!
Also do you think the older two are closer and always will be as shared so much more already or do you think not necessarily? One of my friends had a much younger brother and you could always tell how much he meant to her and she talked about him more than another brother nearer her age!

The 12 year old loves to help. The 16 year old not so much. He tells baby to 'chill' if he cries whereas 12 year old goes in & comforts the baby. I think they'll all be as close any siblings would be as we're a close family & spend a lot of time together. The bigger obstacles are things like not hanging as much time to help 16 year old with gcse revision or as much time to watch movies with 12 year old - I think that they feel a little disadvantaged but not enough to care that much about it.
