Relocating but don't no where to start on areas in mid-north

Hi wondered if anyone can help we are selling our house in the south and looking to relocate to a cheaper area max budget £150k as we really don't want a mortgage we don't no the Midlands or anywhere in the north and have been looking at all different areas but when you read up about them they have awful reviews

Can anyone help with nice villages or places they no property is cheap but also nice areas also have 10 and 13 yr old so good schools is important thank you Confused

Lincoln, Lincolnshire has some beautiful surroundings villages.

Never been to Boston you should take a few day trips to the places your interested in.
