As the title says - teachers do you feel nervous? Parents how are you coping?
How are you DCs?

I’m sitting up feeling like I want to puke. Ridiculous- nothing I can do now...

bangourvillagebesttimeever · 22/08/2018 22:22

Its my Niece and Nephew going through it at the moment, had A levels last week and GCSE tomorrow although two results already received last friday. Good news so far so hoping it will be the same tomorrow. My eldest has been through this 3yrs ago and I will have it again to do with my other 3 DC! Good Luck everyone!

pieceofpurplesky · 22/08/2018 22:28

There is so much pressure on the pupils and the staff!

MsJaneAusten · 22/08/2018 22:30

I’ve been grumpy with my family all day. It might be because I’m so stressed!

MayhemandMadness01 · 22/08/2018 22:33

We can't even figure out what time we can collect DDs results - its just too stressful

user1471530109 · 22/08/2018 22:38

Does anyone know what time results are posted on AQA e login?

I'm v stressed. Fingers crossed for everyone!

pieceofpurplesky · 22/08/2018 22:40

Yes, feeling a bit nervous for DS now it's the evening before!

Was on great GCSE/Y11 thread but fell off it whilst I was away for a few days and offline. Anyone know where it's got to - last title was The final countdown, but evidently that one filled up, so now might be The final, final countdown ( or "I spy" was mooted I think )

Mumsnet search facility doesn't seem to work like it used to in the good ol' days!

Anyhoo, good luck to one and all for tomorrow! And sleep well Xxx

user1471530109 · 22/08/2018 22:43

Just logged in to sisra and it says they have locked it until 6am! Grin

May aswell try and sleep. Hope everyone gets the results they and their pupils deserve tomorrow Wine

Gigis · 22/08/2018 22:45

I've posted on another thread about how worried I am! Feel totally sick (but could have been chip shop pasty I just finished...) who'd be a teacher eh?!

tinytemper66 · 22/08/2018 22:47

I know I worked harder than some of my pupils so they get what they deserved.
Most of my class had already sat early entry so we concentrated on Literature. However as they had already 'passed' they felt they didn't need to work for the extra GCSE so I had months of apathy from some.

I hope those that worked hard get what hwy deserve and can go on to do what they want in college/6the form.

I had a real mixed bag of behavioural issues and MH issues in my class.
One of those classes that are as mad as a box of frogs but you love them. I worked harder than ever and so did they.

Then it really doesn’t matter how your results look. You can’t ask for more Flowers

ThisMustBeMyDream · 22/08/2018 23:50

I'm sat here, unable to sleep. 10am for results here. It's going to be a long night. My ds failed all his mocks. He failed his eng literature last summer.
I am praying to all the gods that he got the kick up the arse he needs. All I want is 5 passes. Unfortunately I am unable to decipher what the fuck a pass even is anymore Confused Grin.

I have to take him on crutches too. Since he decided to fall 20ft of a fecking rope swing on Saturday, having himself airlifted to hospital. Coz you know... teenage knobheads.

Just pass kid. Pleeeeease!!!

pieceofpurplesky · 22/08/2018 23:52

Sadly @MsJaneAusten my head and the governors don't see it that way!

OP posts:
AppleKatie · 23/08/2018 07:16

Not too bad here. Don’t think I’m in the firing line anyway...

Good luck everyone else ...

FlyMaybe · 23/08/2018 07:26

Feeling sick. Good luck everyone. Just about to leave with my DS to collect his results.

Is it too early for gin? Gin

AppleKatie · 23/08/2018 07:30

Slightly! Perhaps prosecco brunch about 10? Fingers crossed for you.😃

itshappenedagain · 23/08/2018 07:30

Good luck with the results! I had a look at ours when they came up at 6am. They're good and I'm so glad!

JugglingFromHereToThere · 23/08/2018 08:01

Thanks so much bionic

And good luck teachers! My DNeice will be waiting for her Y11's English results!

tinytemper66 · 23/08/2018 12:22
