What does the training entail which determines how receptionists judge whether a problem is worthy of seeing a GP same day / in 3 weeks / at all?

Is there any health complaint you've discussed that has shocked you?

We just use our own judgement. In my opinion we are one of the good ones. If there are appointments that day and someone rings we give them that appointment. It makes it easy that most of our patients will only ring for same day appointments if it is an emergency and we have appointments we can book throughout the week aswell.

Also never believe when receptionist say they can't book same day appointments for another day it's a lie we can we just override the slots.

So many health complaints you wouldn't believe. I hadn't heard of half the things people complain about and some things can be quite horrific honestly you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
