Hi! I always thought their would be an issue with my fertility so we'd discussed adoption before ttc. We had some fertility treatment but stopped when it became too much for both of us and decided to go down the adoption route.
It's me and my dh and ds was 2 when he came home.

Interesting thread. Was is strange to suddenly have a 2 year old in the house without having done the baby stage? How did you bond?

Do you know much about DS’s biological parents? Where was he for the two years before he came to you? Really interesting thread - thank you.

It was very weird going from nothing to a walking talking child in the house but we bonded well and quite quickly.
We registered our interest in September and he was home in the May so it was really quick.

We know quite a bit about birth mom but not about birth dad (birth mom has a very chaotic life)
Ds was with a foster family from very early on so had a more stable life than most.
