how did you get into podium dancing?
My friend's brother was a club promoter and asked me if I'd do a few "shifts" on the podium for cash in hand. I agreed. I was good so I was kept on.
Then I met a guy who owned an events company renting out podiums/dancers for corporate events. I signed on with them and got a few bits and pieces of work but it wasn't what I wanted to do (lots of traveling, choreography time which I wasn't paid for) so I stopped taking gigs with them.
