Thank you! I've not had my meter read in over a year. Can I call them and ask them to do it? Will it affect my bill (on DD) though so maybe pointless?

Call them with a reading if you can. it's really important you do as if you are using more than they are estimating you will end up paying out a larger monthly DD the longer your leave it. Better the devil you know!

If you can't read it (or don't want to I suppose) you can call and ask for an appointment yes.
