I thought I knew them and we were friends. I was wrong. My faith in people has been rocked.

I can see why, I really hope you and your daughter get the support you need

Thank you struggling the people who have been kind and supportive have my lifelong loyalty now, the people who have been unkind I will never speak to again. I have discovered a tough and unforgiving side of myself which I guess is due to having a vulnerable child who needs compassion not ignorance and meanness.

I really hope you continue to recover well and get back to health soon, thank you so much for your answers Flowers

Struggling on , thank you-I did wonder as it’d be hard to cope with to say the least!!

What can friends do to help people suffering? My friend is going through it atm and it's so difficult to help her. She's still in outpatient atm but it continuing to lose weight and not following the eating plan they've set. She's also still driving and working in an active job (teacher) despite telling me she feels faint sometimes walking up the stairs. She is so underweight and it's scary and I want to rescue her but can't

I realise this is a zombie now but if anyone ever comes back, and has suffered an ED, do you think it ever truly leaves you? (I've had one for around 12 years and counting).
