How long are you going to keep this thread going?

(enjoying it way too much).

what do you get your kids for Christmas ? Do you buy them gifts all year round?

Nothing too extravagant. The older two don't want toys anymore (boo hoo) so it'll usually be a pair of trainers, some clothes... xmas is more token gifts. A new phone would be a bday gift (and even then it'll prob be a hand me down one, poor kids)

Do you have £ limits for birthdays and Christmas?
We don't have limits but It'd probably be a few hundred each, unless there was anything really special that was on a list and we considered worth it.

I'm sorry, that's not very exciting or footballers wifelife is it?!

What do you buy each other?

I'm easy with a handbag/shoes/something sparkly. He gets pyjamas Grin
Really though, he will buy himself whatever he wants throughout the year so I don't feel too bad!

How much do you spend on family and friends ? For a big bday for close family we will splash out. For example my dad got a special watch for his 60th and we gave my mum a beautiful diamond necklace (that she's too scared to wear.... I've told her it better come to me in her will! 🤪)

Where does fan mail get sent? To the club/ social media/ home address? How do people know where to send it?
Do footballers have social media managers or are they actually on twitter/ Instagram posting themselves?

What’s your day to day outfit then?

Well it would have usually been skinny jeans, Zara vest top (those scoop neck ones with the wide straps that give me great cleavage) a blazer and heels/nice flats. Killer designer bag and shades

But I'm determined to bring more summer dresses and skirts into the mix nowadays

You said you don’t have a nanny, but what other household help do you have/will you have when house is sorted? PA? Housekeeper? Gardener? Driver? Chef?

People need to stop guessing it’s not fair on op

People just aren’t grasping the fact OP will never say who she is and that it’s unfair to naje people as they might then have the thread wrongly attributed to them

I’ve reported 4 posts that suggest a name and MNHQ have had them down in minutes.

Great thread OP

I used to watch the original ‘Footballers Wives’ years ago, way before your time I expect! And I guess that’s still how I imagine WAGs lives to be. All the drama on these TV programmes though!! - but is there any or is it tame IRL?

Also do you usually have any staff or help? (In your bigger house).

Thanks for sharing, very interesting.

Maybe your friend could do an AMA about being a pop star 😀

Does your OH play for Manchester City, is he Manu Garcia?

Unlikely as he's only 20!

Why do wags love their bags?
Are you allowed any individuality?
If you became very unique in your ways and appearance would you be packing your bags?

Not sure whether you've answered this but:

How did you meet your DH? Did you purposely look to date a footballer?

I've loved reading this as a football fan!

Does your husband play full games most of the time? If not, is he bitter/disappointed/angry about being benched?
