I am not naïve. I am questioning how widespread this is and whether what is happening is as claimed.
I prefer to use evidence. I do intend to look further into this, as it's not my experience and we have firm guidelines. I will however check some of these details.
Excuse my scepticism on the matter, but I've read too many threads on identifying as cats and other nonsense.

Quite - thank you

You said voting against people's rights. Women's rights are people's rights. You didn't specify housing and employment in the subsequent post.

What rights are Labour removing from women fluffy? Specifically....Hmm

It never happens does it, except all the times it actually does!

You think men are going to take over breastfeeding and menopause groups?
You think despite the Cass Report doctors are going to start treating teenagers with surgery and puberty blockers again? I don't think there is any evidence this will happen at all.

We have no truck with this. Big academy trust.
Nor the other 2 I am in regular contact with.
Parents on here should definitely inform themselves of the PSHE content of their school because they may believe these claims about all or most schools.

That's good to hear.
As well as the PSHE curriculum parents need to check for schools being signed up to Stonewall (who lobby for the removal of single sex spaces, sport and promote the transitioning of children in schools). LGBT clubs that are mixed age, breach countless safeguarding principles and open up older children and staff to allegations of grooming. Equality policies that misrepresent the protected characteristics.

children are already being taught gender nonsense in schools.
No, they are not. There are very strict guidelines.
Check your facts before you make unfounded accusations.

Yes, they are. Two of mine have, indeed, been taught this year in their schools (at y6 and y9) that there are multiple genders.
Not to mention at senior school Pride club (which DD says is mainly filled by autistic kids) where they are told by senior pupils - but supervised by a teacher - that anything said is not to be repeated out of pride club. So the kids out themselves as trans and socially transition at pride club and are told not to tell anyone. These kids are generally ND. It’s shocking. And yes of course I have contacted the school multiple times and they have yet to answer.
It is absolutely happening in schools, even since the Cass report and despite guidelines. It is naive to think that the guidelines are being respected.
edited to correct a typo

Oh I think you were speaking generally.
This would be good if parents did check because they'd find out that the pshe resources are nothing to be concerned about.
They should definitely seek to reassure themselves. As I do with many anxious parents.

You've really never heard of this Empress?

Maybe have a read of this thread (from a teacher) detailing the countless ways activist teachers in some schools are supporting transitioning children:

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5047890-after-the-cass-review-what-are-they-going-to-do-about-schools

And the NEU attempting to undermine safeguarding children in schools?

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/04/05/union-against-schools-telling-parents-child-changes-gender/

It's great if your school has no truck with this nonsense - I know of a number of schools where Heads have successfully kept Stonewall & other trans lobby groups outside the gates. And I know of others where activist teachers have been allowed to dictate policy - to the detriment of children.

The school that your children attend. If parents have concerns, they should request a meeting with the school their children attend and ask to see their teaching resources; and ask about their approach to teaching gender identity theory.

My children are all adults now, too, and I left teaching in 2010 when trans simply was not a thing in schools, and nobody had heard of 'gender identity'. But it is now. There has even been a child in my granddaughter's primary school was came back after covid identifying as a boy, and telling her friends that they were transphobic for misgendering her. They, understandably, were very upset. They were only 10 years old.

Have you heard of 'Transgender Trend'? A group of professionals who work with children, either as teachers, other professionals, or parents - who produce alternative teaching resources to those produced by the activist organisations.

My daughter handed the headteacher of my granddaughter's school their pack - because until the episode mentioned above - she had not come across this before.

Transgender Trend - Who Are We? - Transgender Trend

Transgender Trend is a UK organisation advocating for evidence-based care of gender dysphoric children and science-based teaching in schools.

I'm sorry you can't coherently follow a conversation.

I'm perfectly able to, thank you.

You specifically said voting against people's rights, not specifying you still meant only housing and employment.

You need to tighten your prose.

What school in question? I see many PSHE resources. My children are adults.
This doesn't make sense.

Labour are going to remove women's rights if their manifesto is to be believed (as would Greens and LDs). Are you lacking respect for those voters too?

I'm not claiming anything....I'm telling you the facts of what is going on in many schools. Yes, it is alarming.....and parents need to be aware. Ask the school in question for a look at their resources, ask the head directly what is going on in PSHE, and ask your own children too.

No, I certainly did not think you would. At all.
Please don't claim that many schools are involved in this because it is genuinely alarming to parents. Claims about how widespread this is can be very damaging.

Perhaps you should familiarise yourself with guidelines for all schools.
I'm a teacher and get fed up with all this misinformation. "Activist" teachers?! They have to follow the curriculum. Same as everyone.

Whether you accept it or not, there are activist teachers in many schools.

All of my daughter's initial teacher traiining schools, as well as the teacher training course, itself, were all over it. My daughter overheard one teacher actively teaching year 10 pupils gender identity theory as fact; another year 8 boy being screamed at by a teacher for supposed 'transphobia'.

In one school the Geography teacher was a trans identified young man, who the girls had to refer to as 'Miss', and who ran an LGBTQ+ lunchtime club - in which many girls from vulnerable backgrounds, or who were struggling with their sexuality - had it suggested to them that perhaps the reason for their distress was " maybe because you are trans".

Other schools with corridors clad in the Pride rainbow flag and colours and staff actively teaching gender theory as fact.
