Nah, she's right. I read the whole exchange, saw you being totally disingenuous and dishonest and then doing the faux-reasonable deflective, time wasting "explain what I did" stuff. Didn't fool her, didn't fool me, didn't fool anyone.

The thing is I don’t really care what you think, asking questions isn’t being disingenuous, time wasting? That’s a new one. Still waiting for an answer though.

viques · 23/10/2026 09:04

While photos of child sex abuse are of course never acceptable and anyone taking them, looking at them and sharing them should be dealt with appropriately , I would point out that using photos of your children to monetise your commercial interests -even if you are careful not to show their faces - is also a form of exploitation.

HaM know that their most valuable assets are their children’s faces, I do wonder how soon it will be before they give in to the temptation and sell tasteful pictures of them to the highest bidder. If they can also get their Royal Grandad into the shot then kerching, big payday. HaM must be steaming that the RF has so far wisely kept control of the “King meets grandchildren” photos.

Calliopespa · 23/10/2026 09:05

I'm not the world's greatest MM fan if I'm honest, (she's fine, but I do think she'd do well for herself and her dc to just live quietly) but surely this isn't her fault.

I'm not sure how people can want to be pinning any reactions or fallout on her.

Hellohelga · 23/10/2026 08:56

TM being a pervert doesn’t exonerate HAMs very public slating of the RF. I feel sorry for her over this but they are separate issues.

yes, exactly. Some very weird comments on this thread suggesting that M is an innocent victim; her Dads behaviour gets H&M off the hook from their years long publicity fuelled trashing of the British Royal Family, before trying to schmooze back in when the money and influence runs out. Yeah, H&M are dreadful whatever her family have or haven’t done.

Charismaticpanda · 23/10/2026 09:08

CoffeeCantata · 23/10/2026 09:03

It’s easy to see why Meghan was so jealous of Catherine - her supportive and wholesome family background contrasts cruelly with Meghan’s trashy, blabbermouth lot.

Absolutely the Middleton family are so refined & supportive, they have been a wonderful help to William & Catherine. Carole strikes me as utterly sensible & no nonsense.
The way Catherine & William are grey rocking H&M and blocking out all the noise is just brilliant. Never complain, never explain!

Equating child sex abuse with Instagram family pictures is also vile.

If anything it highlights how ridiculous they were in their crusade against the RF for minor issues and perceived slights…..when serious issues like this, is reason to turn on a family member.

And the actual royal children are being used now increasingly for Royal family propaganda. None of them is getting anything near a normal childhood. It's a goldfish bowl institution now and there's no turning back the clock on this sadly.

I thought there were a whole lot of dramas about the siblings?

Edited

When Harry said the RF were the family she'd never had, I thought that's a bit much. But given what the Markles have revealed themselves to be, he had a point.

What did Harry know?
Why did he never meet his father in law?

This unfortunately opens up a can of worms.

There is starting with coke dealing Uncle Gary ....and multiple creditors from Party Pieces...

You are now equating the Prince of Wales' children's experiences with child sex abuse.

Vile. Stupid. Obvious.

Again, not Kate's fault, but why do these threads always become caricatures of whichever "side" posters are wanting to attack or defend.

Yes, but Harry and Meghan are guilty of that than so are William and Kate.
And any other famous person who does a photo shoot with their kids.
It's crazy to think if I live long enought I'll see pictures of William's eldest kid on banknotes and coins just because he's king, hopefully we'll have a democratically elected president by then.

For those royalists who complain about that idea, there's nothing stopping a royal putting themselvies forward for president. Charles' distant relative in Bulgaria did that- the ex-king became PM after the fall of communism.

Inevitably there’s going to a lot of uncomfortable questions, particularly for Meghan.

It’s a horrific situation to be in but they have to treat it with the seriousness that it deserves. They can’t ignore it.

Ahhh c’mon, these HAM people dedicate their lives to scrutinising that woman. They’re unhinged people truly. They’d blame her for the weather.

It is possible for the dad to be a wrongun and also HAM to be a collective pain in the arse…..

Sigh. I am talking about exploitation. Thought I had made it clear that there are different levels of exploitation, so using images of your own children to bolster your failing commercial interests is fairly low down on the spectrum, but it is still using your children’s images for financial gain.

Which I'm not that's your take not mine. Given the public clsusterfuck that seems to be the royal family in its widest sense I wouldn't wish being in it on my worse enemy. The insatiable desire for the tabloids and social media every child will have their lives torn part looking for angles. The current batch of Royals went to University before the widespread use of mobile phones - the next generation will be surrounded by them.

Meghan will love this. Perfect excuse to say that is why he was not at the wedding! She can play the victim again ....................................................

You may not like her but that's pretty low, what sort of nasty little mind have you got that that's the first place you go?

Wow, you're conflating CSA with Meghan posting pix of her kids with their faces covered on IG?

I think I just heard the sound of a barrel being scraped.

I don't understand this kind of comment - I'm not a fan at all - but surely having a dysfunctional background makes her a more sympathetic character? As far as I know she's never leveraged it - she just distanced herself.

You persist on a thread about serious child sex abuse allegations to talk about the impact of children placed in the media by their parents.

It's a terrible stupid vile comparison.

There are some awful people at the fringes of these arguments and it tends to be around Meghan and Catherine.
I think William and Harry are seen as brothers who have had a bit of a falling out.
But the comments I see on each sides about both women are absolutely horrendous and I think those involved just want to be mean. That’s their MO.
If MM’s father has been in any way involved with child abuse (because that’s what these images are) then I feel terribly sorry for her. It’s her dad who she loved at the end of the day and her step brother is an absolute shit.
But I have also seen the ‘sugars’ be emotionally cruel to Catherine over her cancer for example.
I wrote a very innocuous comment about Catherine under an Instagram post about her style and just said she looked very elegant. That was it. Within two replies I’d been called a racist old bitch because I hadn’t included Meghan.
These types of people are angry at the world, or themselves, or their own lives. Making nasty comments seems to help them vent in some way.
