Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I am a tad confused ( it’s not hard , I admit ) around the trust fund.
Only Max signed it, does this mean that Amy hasn’t any money until Jack signs it too? She seemed to be running off as if it was a done deal. I know that Craig wouldn’t want to see Jack of course !

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 12:56

Lee , Jess and Nancy ! What a mess that is.
Why did it take a week to look for Jess ? Where did they go and stay ? You would think he would have fessed up long before the week was up!

The breaking of the trust story is ridiculous, it just wouldn’t happen so quickly and would only be broken for the most serious of reasons. And wouldn’t Jack have to be involved?

I think the revocation of Mick’s presumption of death is foreshadowing Mick’s surprise return for Linda’s last episode. I didn’t know this was possible but surely if it is then Linda would have to agree?

I've said all along I bet Mick was just Eastenders Dead as opposed to Dead Dead. I really want to be right about that! 😄Imagine if it is Linda marrying Max on NYD then Mick turns up (complete with beret and a French accent)

Hadn't they split up though, so the kids would be next of kin?

Can’t believe that Lee could revoke the death certificate and not tell Linda or his siblings. I didn’t know that one person could without anyone else knowing ? I think ( but may be wrong ) that Mick had divorced Linda before he went missing , so maybe that’s why she wasn’t involved.
What evidence did he have he wasn’t dead ? I thought it was seven years for such a death certificate.
I can remember a documentary with the manic street preachers musicians family ( Richey Edwards ) and they had to wait seven years for the certification, unless it’s all changed now ?

Like the end of The Graduate, but more cockney/franglais. Fleeing in a black cab as is traditional.

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 13:32

Mick was going to marry Janine I think , so must have been divorced by new year and falling in the sea.

Southeastdweller · Yesterday 13:45

I’d forgotten Mick married Janine (perhaps because that story was so implausible). Google tells me they never divorced so she would be next of kin. We know she’s coming back soon.

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · Yesterday 13:58

So Lee was able to by pass Janine then ! Maybe because she was in jail ? It gets so complicated doesn’t it ( especially when I can’t be bothered to look it up )

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 14:08

Mick did marry her in 2022.

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 14:13

Lee doesn’t look like he knows what day it is half the time, let alone sneak off to revoke a death certificate.
He may have got Janine’s permission.. but doubtful ?
( to get back at his mum ?)
I thought the insurance paid out to Linda ages ago as well ? ( ??)

Shellingbynight · Yesterday 14:20

If they go down the route of Dead Mick being Not Dead, I am going to stop watching till this producer is keel-hauled. It would be in the realms of a fairy tale (not in a good way).

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 14:25

Maybe Mick will do a brief cameo and rescue Linda from Max and they all leave together to bring up Lee’s child.

MadisonAvenue · Yesterday 14:57

I was curious about when Janine’s back so did a search and found a Digital Spy article with pics of her, Linda and Max at a funeral which was posted on Aug 20th so her return surely can’t be far off now.

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 15:06

Mick must have been found then. At least it’s closure and not another one back from the dead.

Shellingbynight · Yesterday 15:23

I saw those photos at the time, from what I remember they seem to have used the same church for Zoe's funeral and the Janine scenes.

Mick has been in the sea for four years, the fish would have eaten him long ago, there would be nothing left to find or put in a coffin!

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 15:28

How could you get ‘ Mo Harris’ mixed up with ‘ Zoe slater ‘ for the order of service ? The twins have been packed off to Lynne then! She comes in handy eh. No worries about school.

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 15:30

May be a memorial for Mick ? I can’t imagine anyone being happy at seeing Janine ever again! All a bit odd.

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 15:31

Doh ! It’s half term ! So aunt Lynne can have them.
Of course

murasaki · Yesterday 15:37

Shame really, i was looking forward to the Shining twins' recorder recital.

MyWildOliveGoose · Yesterday 15:47

There’s a reason why Will overheard Oscar and Max today on the market, I’m wondering why.

Maybe Lee and Janine revoked it. Maybe Mick is found and they have a service for him 4 years later, honestly couldn’t care less. I stopped watching when EE became the Danny Dyer show if I’m honest. 😅

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 15:57

Yes, they didn’t let the twins shine did they ! Lol

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 18:25

Have to hand it to Bert and Ernie:
They have two biological parents about and know who they are.
They haven’t murdered either parent ( yet )
They haven’t developed a drug or drink problem yet , but they are only young tbf
They must go to school as playing the recorder.
They speak well and quite comical at time.
By EE standards they are winning at life

Give it time. One or both of them will be on drugs, in prison or have fathered a child within the next couple of years. No child in EE is allowed to have a normal life.
