Why so much hate on MN?

Why so much hate on MN?
Posters hiding behind complaints about the government, presenting themselves as reasonable actors, to push hate about asylum seekers, people with disabilities, benefit claimants..Mostly the same names all day everyday.
I am told to report - MN just not interested.
I am told to hide the thread..
Why isn't moderation better?
I know this will always exist and exists on other platforms but MN makes no effort to even try to anything about it.
You can't really sell MN as a caring, supportive site with all this stuff offered on a daily basis in active.

Benefits claims for teenagers diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism have more than tripled since the pandemic, with the sharpest rise seen in the richest areas.

More than one in 40 teenagers in the most affluent areas received Personal Independence Payments (Pip) last year for ADHD or autism, a study from the Nuffield Trust has found.

The findings have come to light before a government review into ADHD, autism and mental health services as concerns grow over their diagnosis rates.

Researchers said higher rates of new ADHD diagnoses in wealthier areas could partly reflect affluent families making greater use of private routes to diagnosis.

They warned that soaring demand for diagnosis and treatment risked “crowding out” the most severe cases and the “unnecessary and possibly harmful pathologisation of a sizeable proportion of the population”.

The Nuffield Trust report shows a quarter of 16 to 24-year-olds screened positive for ADHD symptoms in 2023-24, up from around 14 per cent in 2007. Researchers stressed that screening positive for symptoms does not amount to a clinical diagnosis.

Self-reported autism among 16 to 24-year-olds has also risen, from around 5 per cent in 2022 to 9 per cent in 2025

We all know the drill.

Burnham needs Labour MPs to accept the upcoming review. There’s been a few articles and ones on how ‘rich areas’ have more claims might help him.

Disability charities will oppose services over cash for some areas. But if its broadest shoulders gumpf then it’s an angle to take. We’ll see.

The broadest shoulders have always claimed. Being well off doesn't make you less disabled.

Does it matter who diagnosed you?

Surely the suffering by someone diagnosed privately is not or a lesser nature than that of someone who was diagnosed by the NHS?

As PIP isn't means tested, the broadest shoulders doesn't exist in this context

It should stop the attacks on poorer people claiming PIP as they have a lot more obstacles to clear.
