Totally inappropriate enormous vibrator adverts now ALL over Mumnset.

What on earth are you thinking of? Is Mumsnet really that short of cash that they have to stoop this low?

Not to mention the ridiculous woke language ie "people with wombs".

Totally inappropriate on ALL levels.

This pisses me off, because it's GASLIGHTING, pure and simple. There is no taboo around a mother having sex - duh, that's how siblings come about - none whatsoever. Not even in 1825, actually. They're trying to convince us that there is, so that we'll get fired up, feel all gutsy and rebellious and go and buy one of their Shrek's ears to break that objectionable taboo.

I think if I ever met anyone IRL who referred to me as a womb/cervix/vagina/vulva owner or "haver" I'd probably not be very polite to them.

"Haver" is a great word, though. It's a Scottish word that rhymes with saver and it means talking a load of rubbish. Very ap.

Smile Makers website is an eye opener - how we work - we named everything with male names while talking about female sexuality- hmmm sod those pesky lesbians. Basically the products, language, packaging and supply chain need overhauling and they want everyone to tell them how to do it.
