Hi There

So sorry about this, we are working really hard to replicate this issue, as you can appreciate it makes it almost impossible to fix something unless we see the problem.
I am keeping everyone updated on this thread;

Can I request you all post on that one so I can make sure I am seeing all your feedback and comments.

incogKNEEto · 12/09/2016 08:11

Me too. Android phone, pop up for 3 yesterday and talk talk this morning that wouldn't let me close it.

MermaidofZennor · 12/09/2016 08:03

Was getting the ads before on my Kindle Fire, nothing shown up yet, just last night's one when I was using my phone. If it comes up on kindle I will try and do screenshot.

Same. Android on chrome. Samsung S5.
Mine was on the circumcision thread last night and the my fiance didn't come home last night thread.
Didn't screen shot but mine says Dept of work and pensions worker you have won iPhone etc etc.
Just switched phone off and have run various mallard anto virus that haven't picked anyhing up worryingly.
Any advice on what I need to do to make sure my phone is safe?

Eyre89 · 12/09/2016 07:07

Mine started yesterday and has happened 5 times now.

I'm on Sony Android, mobile site virgin Internet

PoppyAmex · 12/09/2016 07:07

Same here. Motorola on Android.

RunnyRattata · 12/09/2016 07:04

Just had one. Will screenshot next time.

Sierra259 · 12/09/2016 07:00

I just had one from Sky. Will screenshot if it happens again.

oldsilver · 12/09/2016 06:59

Bit early innit - first look of the day.

Gah the popups are back
Hs2Issue · 12/09/2016 06:32

Another one from "sky". Chrome user on android phone.

Soupandasandwich · 11/09/2016 19:57

This has happened several times today - I posted on the other thread. Most recently it's happened twice within a few minutes. Once as I tried to login and once when I opened this thread. Seriously, this is happening far too often now. As much as I love MN I don't think I can be bothered to constantly close the site and then login again. This is very similar to what happened several times earlier in the year. Each time we were told that it was something to do with the adverts and that tech was dealing with it. Clearly it's not been solved. Not sure how much longer I am prepared to risk my phone for this.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/09/2016 19:48

Me too,ffs!!

slev · 11/09/2016 18:52

Another one here - Chrome browser on am Android phone - off a thread in legal matters. Didn't screen shot, sorry - was too busy trying to get rid of all the insistent vibrating and pop ups - but I did notice it was some sort of question about how long I'd been with Tiscali (I'm not and never have been).

MermaidofZennor · 11/09/2016 17:14

I got one of the pop up ads on my phone, same as others congratulating me on winning an ipad (BT user). Tried to close it but it kept coming back. Have got rid for now. Just reporting it to MN.

DeathMetalMum · 11/09/2016 16:19

I've just had one of these too. Closed the browser page on my phone and it went away.

I'm on Samsung android but it had my isp in the title. Confused

DawnMumsnet · 11/09/2016 16:01

Thanks for letting us know that these ads are popping up in again. The screenshots and url links are really useful, so thanks for taking the time to post those.

We've already alerted our Ads team as there's another thread running here on the same issue.

We'll be back with news as soon as we can.

In the meantime, we're sorry for all the faff. Flowers
