I would normally find much of this far-fetched, and as @RedTagAlan said steer away from conspiracies, but we have been linking to long-term careful articles on Orr and his sponsors and invitees to Cambridge. One of the most disturbing is Charles Murray, author of The Bell Curve.

I caught some of her interview with Matt Frei on LBC yesterday morning. I thought she was great. We (Conservatives) missed a trick not putting her in the House of Lords.

We must challenge people to hear alternative points of view etc. When what they should be doing is pointing out the major flaws in the propaganda these characters churn out under the guise of "academic work".

It's a long time since the "bell curve" came out, and I can't remember the flaws, but I recall it was loaded with them.

Now here is the thing for me. And heads up, I am atheist. So apologies if this offends anyone. These people are really clever. Massively smarter than me, yet with planet sized brains, they are choosing to believe an iron age collection of books and are deciding their version of that is the blueprint of humanity.

Instead of, you know, producing a paper that says " Hey look, here is the evidence it is all true. Or at least the bits we like"

Here is the Jesus prayer they put a lot of importance on.

“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner,”

There is reams and reams of stuff written about this, And hey, of course it is totally fine for people to be religious. But don't force your ideas on the whole of society. If you really do think the world should be your Christian version, then be honest. Set up a Christian party with a manifesto and put it to the electorate. But no, instead they lie and cheat, potentially breaking secular law, to get what they want. I look at that prayer, and I think, prove point one please, and point 2, and wtf is a "sinner".

Interesting - I thought it was the Helen, but seemingly not! I could only see that it was Helen's post but I heard it all.

It was a propaganda post taking a stance and showing a different stance propaganda video. Both felt cold and devoid of feeling for the subject.

Wondering where you are from. Southern English accent can be monotonous- in the sense the pitch doesn't vary as much as with other accents. I thought the woman was trying to be clear. But it was the Religious content I was interested in- Zia Yusuf s attempt to unite British identity and Christianity around the issue of disused churches being Mosques.

I don't think that was 'a woman', as I said. This was using the Reform video to say the opposite of them. I don't understand why there would be an American version.

I can't imagine Orr being involved in such a poor attempt at firing up anger? But, then he wasn't supposed to be grubbily raising funds ... according to Nigel.
