You had a chance to put a stop to the dodgy little lying, pathetic twat and you blew it.

Now we have to listen to his bollocks and hate inducing garbage for longer.

9,000 people voted for a bin rather than this swindler.

He can’t even bring himself to come to your town to accept the vote. He is laughing at you.

Real “man of the people’ - why can’t you see that he doesn’t give a crap about you or your problems?

Oh well at least the investigation into the £5mill can resume.

Of course people have the agency to vote. The mistake from the Times, the charts and those who amplify them is an assumption on who they voted for.

It’s not known. Unless they survey specifically to 18% PIP claimants Clacton.

Yet again, I repeat. Of course not everyone on benefits in Reform areas will vote Reform. But there will be a proportion who do.

I very much hope you will also be as rigorous in challenging the assumptions that Labour's core support is benefit recipients. But I bet you won't. Now, I will let you have the last word as is your wont.😊

If you don’t know how 18% voted there’s not much of a story in it is there?

Poor use of information and narrative building. Unless you ask PIP claimants directly who they voted for you can’t make claims about ‘taking on their core voters’.

Ask Fraser Nelson, he’s the one who said it. When you get a right leaning journalist making a critique like this, backed up with statistical evidence, it’s sensible to give it credence.

If it’s believed and repeated I’m wondering why. No one can say how the 18% voted.

As for Nelson, a centre right journalist, whilst I’m pleased the left have new found respect for him, I’d say he’s coming at this from his own angle.

I feel very sorry for Farage. Anne widdecombes murder has clearly shaken him badly, and he is receiving death threats. I hope he can keep going. I’m glad his constituency stood by him.

Ok so how are you sure on who is voting for what? There could be many reasons for those figures to exist together.

There’s no information about crossover available. The chart is obviously successful in making people think as you have. That’s its journalistic intention.

But for actual information you’d need to survey 18% and ask how they voted.

Ok. I don’t mind but if you say you don’t agree with the journalist’s take that he’s going for core voters then it’s the same point I’m making anyway.

As much as it’s interesting to see people back centre right writers it creates the wrong impression that who people voted for is known.
