Essbee - glad you had a good weekend - and the plan for Easter sounds eggscellent (groan, couldn't resist bad pun there).

Take care of yourself.

You had JJ round? Well that is guaranteed to cheer anyone up! I was just thinking about lovely JJ this morning and boozy night out we had in London in the New Year. Great night.

I think your ds was sad to leave here, he was such a good boy for us and seemed reluctant to get in the car when you left. Have to bring him back soon, eh?

We like having essbee to visit, it's not a duty!

Soupy is the one who has been an absolute star, looking after them all for days on end

Thanks for the update Anorak. Glad you all had a good time.

It is def true that exercise makes you feel better, some gps prescribe depressed patients gym courses before resorting to ads as exercise boosts the production of endorphins, the feel good hormones, which in turn boosts serotonin production.

Hello lovely mumsnetters. Essbee went off in the direction of home about an hour ago.

We had a good time, had a lovely big dinner last night then went down to the village social club with all the children. They had live music on. Then we came back and talked and I used my fabulous electric massage machine on essbee's back which made her go all floppy .

This morning we lolled about in nightshirts for a while and I took essbee's ds into my workshop for some cardmaking tips as we are encouraging him to have a go.

Essbee's ds was a little angel the whole weekend, bless him

By the way I agree with unicorn, it's a fact that exercise makes people feel happier.

mmmmchocolate · 12/03/2005 22:44

Hi essbee,

Not sure if i have spoken to you as i am fairly new to nm but know your name and have always found you helpful and friendly. Just rwally wanted to say that it is lovely to see you posting again and glad you are feeling better. And as they say 'the only way is up' now so chin up xxxx

unicorn · 12/03/2005 22:32

Hope your weekend is going well essbee.

Do you do any exercise? (bizarre question!!)

Only today I did a 'power walk' it was such a lovely crisp, cold, clear morning, I really wished you could be there experiencing it.

I recommend finding some time to walk/swim/run/whatever, as in a small way it really can help.

Hoping things are improving for you - you are doing really well, remember that.
xxx
btw..
did you know that STDT (commercially known as 'tosser')
is now being manufactured as a best selling doll(with a real pencil in hand)and is available from all good Camhs!

sansouci · 12/03/2005 22:03

So happy to see you posting, essbee! I've been thinking about you a lot & wondering if I could help you, even if it's just to make you LOL, the way you helped me! I've been through something like what you've just been through & it's hard to come back, IYSWIM. I'm here if you want to talk, privately if you prefer.

Hugs xxxxx

Essbee - I missed this thread. Not got anything to add except to say that everyone else is right.

hoorah for lou & Soupy!

Spacecadet · 12/03/2005 21:16

Glad you have asmile on your face,it is a good idea to get out, hope you enjoy your evening.

melsy · 12/03/2005 11:02

Morning essbee, just reading about stdt, what is it with some people in these positions , why do they get so matter of fact when they know how emotive all this is. Absolutely no sensitivity in some men. They forget they are talking to a human being. Is there someone higher or alongside himn you can talk too , I did this when my HV was driving me nuts and got her changed. Thanfully you have teacher rooting for you, she is your weapon !!

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 10:52

morning honey. Have a wonderful time at Anorak's tonight. Thinking of you today.
