BIL just messaged me to say that he is exhausted cos his been at the gym. well big whoop. dh cant barely get out of bed most days and do i really care about the gym.

havent read all threads, but have gatherd your dh his rather poorly?
your bil problems are worse becasue they are his! its the same with everyone, we do get caught up in our own lives and neglect thinking of others (well we dont cos were all here now arnt we?)
tell him what a hard time dh is having without trying to say his tiredness is not important and im sure he'll click and realize that hes lucckier than he thought.x

he is always putting his foot in his mouth. when his dd was born she had a bent leg (needed physio but is fine). said to mieow, i do hope it isnt CP. grrrrrrr.

My guess is he just wasn't thinking misdee. Case of putting his very large foot in his mouth. Would he really want to upset you on purpose ?
