Page 2 | Unique baby boy name help!

I’m due a baby boy in November and we have no names currently. I have a son called Ocean which we love and suits him well but I think it’s now hard to pair that with another name. I’d like a name unique but not too crazy. Some names we liked but ultimately went against are Noah, West, Navy, Reign, August, Forest. Hopefully gives you an idea of our vibe. Any help appreciated!

Bet there's not many of them about. And it can be shortened to Mal if hes not keen on it when hes older.
My brother is Darrell. Not met many of those.

have you another grandfather or one from your partners family that you can honour in a similar way?

are you in the US? the other names you have listed seem very american to my english ear.
if you are in uk, are you working with names from your heritage?

If you are looking for a name that others at school will not have, perhaps think of one from another country- say a French one as an example.

I don't think you quite understand what "unique" means. There are no degrees of uniqueness.

Perhaps you mean unusual rather than unique.

Just give the poor child a normal name that you like. Why does it have to be unique? (It probably won't be anyway, highly unlikely there's not another person somwhere in the world with that name.)
