Morning, trying to work out if this is a good idea or if baby brain is sending me actually crazy haha.

I have a DS named Wren. We're now expecting #2, and there's a name I just can't get out my head. I've never heard anyone in our lives called this, but I'm worried that's because it's not a real name haha.

I absolutely love the idea of naming this little one Sparrow. Tell me (gently haha) if I'm mad, but I just love it.

DH loves Robin, but I already know of two Robin's.

There was a girl character in one of my favourite children's books called Kestrel, which I always thought was super cool...but I I've never heard of it in real life!

Oooooh, was this The Wind Singer books? I loved them too and love the name Kestrel because of it! If Wren/ Falcon / Raven etc can be names, why not Kestrel. I say go for it ☺️

@Notthebeard yes! That's the one. As a child I thought that was the coolest name ever. Kes/Kess is a pretty good nickname too.

Malia is a bird beginning with M and is a lovely name.

I love Wren by the way (girl or boy).
