To think the French students are out of control?

ITVXsponsoredbyDominoes · Yesterday 19:53

Demonstrating against large class sizes is one thing.

Smashing up shop windows and looting goods is another.

Idiots. They are 14/15 and when they are arrested the French authorities will come down on them and their criminal records will stay with them forever. Where are the parents in all of this?

Woukd this happen in the UK?

French TVs been like a horror show this PM..

Marine Le Pen (serious face,.trust me etc...) followed.by "nothing to do with me or the Left" Melenchon followed now by that poisonous sod Zemmour (remember him)...

Politicians hey..

Only Mr Macron to go.in half an hour and the day will.be.complete.

(Place de la Republique in Paris looking a bit tasty tonight).

Not one single mosque was damaged during yesterday’s arson and looting.

Yes and what makes @DebbieSavage so apt is is that very often, some posters come on and post a view that is only a little less silly and actually mean it in all seriousness.

@DebbieSavage it would be really interesting to know how many thumbs up, thanks and love hearts your posts garner from people who agree with them.

Yep agree. There’s hardly anything between the posts.

The comments denigrating white people or British society seem to get the biggest positive reception. Make of that information what you will.

DenizenOfAisleOfShame · Today 18:39

To really capture the quality of serious left-wing MN posters Debbie needs to sprinkle the word “fascist” in more liberally.

Well, that is surprising information...not!

Thanks @DebbieSavage

Generally there aren't a lot of likes on my posts if it makes you feel any better.

PenelopeShadow · Today 18:57

No @DebbieSavage I would like you to get lots of likes for 2 reasons

  1. You're like a modern day Swift with his Drapier's Letters

and

  1. It really does show up how biased people are that they would like any post-no matter how far fetched, how unreasonable-if it is deemed to be the "right think" as demonstrated by the BBC and The Guardian.

They are so blind that they don't stop and think; so dim that if any bile is shown toward anyone who isn't left wing, they throw their dunce's caps in the air and like and love the post.

Are they? What makes you think that?

This, too, shall pass.

Courage!

Mate, it’s not funny!

People have lost their homes and their livelihoods.

Too soon.

The French have a long history of riots, demo’s etc, it’s in their dna. The earliest student riots were in 13th century Paris (1229) & French riots have continued, more often than you might realise, over 100s of years (including 1789) as a way for the people to show their dissatisfaction. Yes they can get volatile but I think there is now an element of rent a mob paid for & planted by those wishing to incite more violence for their own reasons - to destabilise govt., push the ‘immigrant’ narrative etc. And this isn’t just happening in France.

thefourthbeatle · Today 19:28

"French students"🤔. The majority of the rioters are African men in their twenties and thirties.

See, whats the point in my satirical posts when you can get the real thing straight out of the horses mouth ☝️

It wasn’t a joke. I saw an X post saying they were marching towards it.

They need to bring back the Guillotine. The woman whose store was ransacked can sit there knitting whilst the perpetrators get their just desserts.

Mass migration has made France an amazing country and one that people the world over love to visit. I genuinely don't see what you are seeing with these protests, if anything they are a model example of multiculturalism because I see people of all ethnicities coming together to fight for their right to a decent education.

A lot of the destruction can be attributed to the far right who seem to be capitalising on genuine resentment in order to make the left look bad. That's what I'm hearing from people I know who are French.

Omg. People actually still believe this 💀

It’ll be fine. The queues are horrendous. Plenty of time to spirit the Mona Lisa away.

Somehow I don't think it is "students" vandalising synagogues, robbing, stripping and humiliating elderly French couples and burning down peoples livelihoods and historic buildings. France looks more like a war zone right now.

KathleenDarleenDayKnight · Today 19:47

This may or may not be true, but rumours that Jewish owned businesses were targeted in Marseilles.

GiaGia16 · Today 19:47

Where have the lefties on this thread gone?

Some are, some aren’t. What unifies them - apart from the straight-out looters just looking for some box fresh trainers - is that they’re all violent left-wingers.
