Wow that's fascinating, I did not know schools were sending girls to Calais to help work with the refugees living in horrid conditions at the hands of French and British authorities. Their parents should be so proud of them for wanting to do so much good for the world. All schools should have a scheme like this, no doubt those young girls will grow up to have so much empathy for the poor people of the world who need to escape poverty and deprivation, to the safety our safe and prosperous Isles.

What I object to is the lazy stereotyping and fear-mongering that immigrants are more likely to be sex offenders and rapists. This is patently untrue. I am in an area that has been hit badly. As a low income area, there was enough scumbags to steal, sell drugs, be involved in violent DOMESTIC abuse. If you avoided that type of guy you’d be safe enough.
Now we have a group who harass young girls, think they are open for sex, don’t understand that the girls don’t want to chat with them, we’ve had countless flashing incidents, public wanking, a deliveroo driver sexually assault a child, it’s in court no secret, another man lifted a child from an apartment block and ran, he’s been arrested, delivery driver push through front door, that’s with 10 miles from me. Knife crime is through the roof, it wasn’t common to carry knives in Ireland, whenever there is fights between the groups or with others they always pull a knife.
I have loads of videos sent by locals of crazy things that go in the area. Many from Afganistan are addicted to opioids, the local park is full of random men, some in the bush injecting heroin.
Oh I forgot about the homeless girl who shared her crack with the immigrant. She was raped, she was arrested when she complained, on her release for public disorder (migrant rape accusation) her support worker brought her for an examination, yes she was badly injured and clearly raped.
The cases I highlighted are in the paper as I know you wouldn’t believe made up stuff.
