Yes, I do apologise. These pesky demands for evidence must be very annoying. I fully appreciate that Reform supporters aren't at all bothered about facts but I'm afraid they're quite important to the rest of us.

Anyway, I looked at your link. I saw a comment from a Reform party person confirming that he had asked her if she was interested in being a councillor and clarifying that he had not actually offered her the opportunity to stand. We don't yet know whether that's what she is referring to or not.

I didn't see the evidence about her not having a job. Can you clarify where this was referenced in your earlier post?

Presumably you're aware that people don't ever get "offered" the role of a councillor, as these are elected positions. I presume that Reeve must also be aware that it would not have been within his gift to "offer" such a position, so it's an odd turn of phrase.

What she could have been "offered" would be the opportunity to stand as a councillor. Typically, I imagine that such a process would only be initiated after an informal conversation about whether the individual would be interested in this. Reeve asked and she declined. We have no way of knowing what would have happened if she had said that she was interested.

I'm not asking you to "get info" for me as some sort of public service. I'm asking you to substantiate your own claims, because without evidence, they are worthless.

You really don't seem to understand why facts are important.

If you make a claim, then you should expect that you might be asked to back it up. No point in having a hissy fit when someone asks you to defend your argument. That's how debate and discussion works.
