What I found extraordinary/strange/odd was that there was absolutely no mention of said C4 expose on the Daily Mail app the following day ( or the next one afaik but could be wrong on that ) while covering the Reform Conference.
Normally the DM would be the first to have an expose from
another outlet as their headline if it suited their interests.
It certainly opened my eyes to how the media can work. Ms. Naive here ☹️🙄

Its interesting to see that 'The Homeless' seem to have been given a rebrand by our friends on the right. The British ones at least.
It doesn't seem five minutes since they were a bunch of idle drug addled reprobates, cluttering up our town centres, terrorising respectable folk quite deliberately, because they couldn't be bothered to stop their substance use and get a job. Now all of a sudden they've been rehumanised as something that could hapoen to any of us because...asylum seekers.
The truth as ever, is somewhere in between.
Most street sleepers are in that position because they've taken, or somethings pushed them down, a wrong turning in life, and there's been no one around to redirect them or give the right support at the right time to prevent the downward spiral.
Its not just about food and beds, these can be available but people have barriers to accessing them, the rules and obligations can seem insurmountable.
It's about getting people back to a position where they can rebuild their lives, and crucially providing support so people never get there in the first place.
(Sorry for pontificating. This is a big issue for me.)

I live in an area where lots of asylum seekers and refugees are placed. I’ve taught them and volunteered with them. Them having a fag doesn’t intimidate me, any more than anyone else doing it does. I have never experienced anything other than respect for: asylum seekers. That doesn’t mean I do;t know that there are some criminals amongst them. I just don’t find them intimidating , worrying or a threat to the country as a group.
