She doesn't need a hotline to West Midlands police. They have released a statement confirming that there was no involvement from counter terrorism police and that the decision to delay Farage's speech was a Reform party decision that the police weren't involved in.

But they are being listened to by the government! Both this one and the Tory government before it talk about asylum and the need to control it all the time! And between them (different things put into place by both governments) the numbers have fallen by 40%. Why do you insist you aren't being listened to?

It's really not minor, her description of the violence and Farage's indifference.
He has no compunction about whipping up.a crowd in that situation, is likely aware she has been assaulted and attributes her abuse to her immediately.

Very few people will ever see masked men terrorising people as inevitable or acceptable. And so, of course, Jenrick has to condemn what’s happening in Dover in order to maintain any pretence at being a serious political party.

But in condemning the scenes at Dover, Reform risk scaring their more extreme supporters off to Restore.

And all the while, Reform’s shadiness and corruption, and their disrespect for the customs, laws and traditions of our democracy is solidifying the tactical vote against them.

Far, far more people would vote for “anyone but Nigel Farage” than will ever vote for him. And I think from how rattled and desperate he seems at this conference, he knows it.

She said she was asked to become a Reform councillor after having heckled Farage at the last conference. Is it unreasonable to assume that a vetting process might pick up the fact that, although she is a party member, her views are not exactly aligned with those of the party leadership?

Vetting for racist views should be included, they are failing there looking at the number of local election candidates who got suspended

Because stopping the boats was never seriously on their agenda, it just suited their rhetoric as sadly there are enough racists in this country who buy into racism.

In my experience these are the people who want us to abolish the human rights act and exit the ECHR because that is following what Hitler achieved. First remove ordinary people's ability to challenge emanations of the state using the law, then the government and state quangos, councils etc have unlimited power.

We all know what happened next . . .. Annihilation of Gypsies, mentally and physically disabled, and Jews. The difference is anyone non white will be top of the list with reform.

To be fair, she is a Reform party member but not a supporter. No evidence for her being idle or smelly 🤣 but I would suggest that the allegation of her being a lefty is probably fair.

She was never asked to be a councillor - she lied about that. See my previous post at 15.23.

It’s a huge difficulty for them. It’s surely why Zia Yusuf is allowed to put out some of the crazy stuff he does (like very publicly accusing a former defence secretary of being a “traitor” just days after appealing for decency following the tragic murder of Ann Widecombe). He’s there to throw red meat to the Restore voters. But to win power they need to capture a huge number of moderate voters. It looks impossible to me, especially since the top Reform politicians are so divisive.
