It's not racism to demand that the government should base immigration policy on recorded statistics about offending rates from each country and each different type of immigrant.

Sadly…. There’s a little core of the UK that use stats as an excuse to cause unrest and problems. When the majority of them will likely be unemployed, bored and offering very little in any shape or form to the Uk themselves

There's also a substantial core of the population who expect democracy to mean that the government don't get to ignore how the majority want the country to operate, simply because the government (and those who most vocally support them) are drawn from an arrogant, elite, self-congratulatory bubble who think that only their own opinions are valid.

The problem with statistics is that they are the fodder of damned liars who use them to conclude whatever suits their own narrative. Life is not black and white, unless you are an extremist. Statistics likewise - they don’t prove anyone’s argument, they are just more data to interpret or misinterpret, or twist as someone sees fit to manipulate others.
