To think Meghan Markle has every right to worry about her security?

There are ex soldiers living on the streets who have kill counts equal or higher than Harry's where is their security 🤔

The Sussex family have security, RAVEC manage it professionally and Harry, Meghan and their dc's risk is continuously assessed and security provided as needed. This is the same deal for other members of the RF, working and non working and was the same for AMW and his daughters when he was the son and Eugenie and Beatrice were grand daughters of the monarch. They are getting the same deal, no less no more. Anne, Princess Royal, Zara, Duke and duchess or Edinburgh all have the exact same security provision as harry and Meghan.

Sounds fair to me.

They would help themselves by not constantly drawing attention to security as they are risking the safety of all royals by constantly poking that. By the way they are not working royals.

It was more a comment about how utterly unhinged some of the people who hate them are. It is worrying.

I've seen a lot of criticism of their behaviour, but nothing I would describe as hate. And nothing worse than what is thrown at working members of the RF.

But then any criticism or disagreement seems to be 'hate' these days. I wonder what word people use for things that are truly hateful.

Nonsense! The vast majority of people just vent about them

I dont have much time or respect for them ( or frankly most of the RF-I feel Harry is the same as they all are- he has just shown his true self in public) but there are people who think the kids are not real or they are actors. It only takes one nutjob to try and prove they are dolls/take them back to their 'real' family/ give them to the King/get rid of the 'impure' blood tainting the RF for it to be an absolute disaster that would likely bring down the whole RF. I thought the same about the weird Benedict Cumberbatch stans years ago who thought his wife had kidnapped him and was forcing him to fake the kids etc. If I was him or his wife I would not have slept at night. However I do think most of these loons live in the US.

That sounds like the type of thing that can happen to anyone, such as Holly Willloughby, the powers that be would step in, plus they’d have their own unarmed body guards who should have enough capability to stop real crazies … if it’s a real threat from someone with eg sniper skills, no one is safe, look at Trump and his security, people still get through, but it’s highly unlikely with these two clowns who have been, without doubt, globally put into their ‘private citizen’ space. Perhaps if all their royal titles and where they are on the line to the throne was taken away, that would not only be effectively free, but would stop any bonkers people, as they’re removed and no longer relevant to the royal lineage … let’s face it, they want rhat, the country wants that (most of them) and it’s the quick and cheap way to achieve everything fast

But in general I accept that he and his family are entitled to be safe, just as the rest of us are, irrespective of merit. If someone made a threat against me, I hope the police would be willing to protect me without demanding to know what I have done to deserve it.

The point is that he's not entitled to as much security as he would like, so it's fair enough that he pays for the extra.

He will get security if there’s a proper risk, except there isn’t, once RAVEC hear about anything that’s a true risk he’ll be given what they deem suitable. He seems ro think he’s entitled to what he wants … he isn’t. He pays his own way, and the police will take over if necessary
