He's always doing this to you though.
Time and time again.
I don't know how you can call such a horrible man your soulmate.

Also OP, at the moment, you're 'wallowing' in self pity.

I'm not saying it to be cruel, but you need to see that wallowing simply isn't ever going to help you ?

He keeps dumping you to hurt you, because it lowers any resistance from you about his horrible behaviours towards you? You're always afraid to disagree, or to confront him about what he's said or done that hurt you because you're always scared he'll dump you again.

He does this repeatedly, to destroy any healthy boundaries you try to assert, because you make it so easy for him by always allowing him back?

He's toxic. He's NEVER going to love & respect you in a way that's healthy, therefore there is NEVER going to be a 'happily ever after' for you with HIM.

It's impossible. It's a fantasy.

You need to stop with the self pity, and start thinking about why it is that you'd rather be miserable forever with HIM, rather than finding happiness with someone new?

Yes it gets easier to tolerate, definitely

Keep busy and distracted. Focus on diet, sleep, exercise and healthy lifestyle

See your friends and family

Book a trip so you have something to look forward to

Unfollow him on Facebook etc

Stay strong. You'll get through this

Why are you starting two threads a day about this?

BMW58 · 06/08/2026 10:39

Of course it gets better - one day you will remember him and feel indifference.

Give it a year. You'll see.

Of course it does.

And he's NOT your 'soulmate', if he was, he'd not have ended it?

He's simply another 'not the right one' for you?

How on earth do you think it would feel if he'd done this 10yrs and 2 kids from now?

Raise your dating bar and enjoy being single for a while, this too will pass...

It takes as long as it takes for you to get over it. Dwelling on it is going to make it take longer! You need to be connecting with family and friends, engaging in hobbies and things that fill your happiness cup. And one day soon you will suddenly realise that it doesn’t hurt so much. Take a short time to cry, watch sad movies, read sad books and then start the healing process!
As lots of us have said on your other posts this man was not your soul mate or he wouldn’t have left you!

Catza · 06/08/2026 09:15

Give it a couple of months and you will barely remember "the soulmate". If he left, he ain't your soulmate.
