• The British / UK-born rate sits at roughly 2.7 to 2.9 sexual offences per 10,000 people.
• The Afghan rate (using realistic, updated population figures) sits at roughly 9.0 sexual offences per 10,000 people.

The nature of coalition is you have parties that represent more extreme views, however, neither of these are right wing governments the way we see them in Italy and Hungary.

These are small countries that look to Sweden and are concerned about their culture being overwhelmed. The Danes are honest and up front. They also don’t suffer from the woke scourge of being terrified of being called racist. They prioritise Danish culture, as they always have. Denmark is about working as a society together for the greater good, any culture - any at all - that seeks to prioritise itself over danish cohesion isn’t going to last in Denmark.

There are not right wing in the populist sense we see in other European countries.

One of the coalition partners in the current Finnish government is a populist right wing party. The current government is right wing.

The leftish parties in Denmark have absorbed right wing policies on immigration to defuse the rise of right wing parties so they are economically and socially left wing but right wing on immigration.

It’s the left that has brought net immigration down.

The answers lies in the middle - I find myself typing this a lot these days.
Countries like Finland and Denmark are not right wing countries and they expressed concern. We have had a massive explosion of illegal immigration, we do need to manage this a lot - a significant amount - better.
But we do also need to have an eye to human rights abuses and economically we do need immigration.
Both sides have good points and both sides have bad points, we need to work towards a solution that will work, practically, even if that means compromise. Especially, if it means compromise.

The trouble is we had a compromise, it was being in the EU which meant we had other europeans who share our culture to some degree.

We also have immigration from countries where they're either former commonwealth countries or have close links with the UK.

The problem with immigration via people seeking asylum is that they tend to not share cultural attitudes and are by definition in need so are a big drain on resources.
