As this is a developing story it’s worth continuing here

The latest revelations about him lying about being a Red Cross spokesman sums up the left. Really well.

Lying about something that someone will eventually check either stupid of foolish.

Either way, not a good look.

OneTealShaker · 06/05/2026 08:26

He’s an absolute gift. Hope he stays in his role. Keep the weirdos from power.

Lalgarh · 06/05/2026 08:24

He's on R4 now

Main comments so far: the press are right wing media and are printing lies about me

More and more people are dying of dangerous drugs so do we want to have them dying or going to somewhere they can take drugs more safely if you gave a serious addiction

(is there a safe way to do nitaznes?)

Definitely! Now we hear that he's not a qualified hypnotherapist, according to the Guardian. Plus more than 30 Green candudates are being investigated for hate. Very murky.

I mean it’s coming to something if the Guardian are criticising the Greens Party.

Im glad it’s transpired he wasn’t a registered hypnotherapist meaning he probably had zero training or oversight - he was bringing the profession into disrepute. The man is a charlatan, he’s an arrogant twat that thinks he can persuade people of anything. Lying doesn’t seem to bother him, how can anyone trust what he’s saying. Mothin has distanced himself, Zach was always going to be the sacrificial lamb. He’s basically Del Boys evil twin!

Being used but also a user given that he previously charged gullible women for hypnosis to increase their breast size.

The blokes a fraud.

Look at the Red Cross story.

I agree. He's a fool, and he's being used.

He used to pretend he could hypnotise women into growing bigger breasts. He makes Trump look like Einstein.

To be fair Polanski might be too thick to be deliberately evil. But he certainly helps evil to be done.

I agree. He's a fool, and he's being used.

Twiglets1 · 06/05/2026 06:41

At this point he is becoming a liability to the Green party.

Hallowedturf · 06/05/2026 06:28

Dave is a one-trick grievance pony.

Hes simply making the most of his 15 minutes of notoriety.

If he can’t work out his need to not spread lies and misinformation about the police’s actions during the arrest of a terrorist and it takes a letter from the Met and being criticised by multiple members of his own party, he’s surely not fit for a leadership role. This is exactly the same type of knee jerk unthinking reaction we see in Trump. Idiot

He seems evil and thick in equal measure.

It seems that the people who vote for him are not all that bright either. You would think the they had grown up matured. But they come out with some fantasy nonsense about how they want everyone else to pay for free stuff for them and some keep saying for it without ever saying no.

EdithStourton · 04/05/2026 20:05

Dear Leader Tit Whisperer
😂😂😂

ThatCyanCat · 04/05/2026 17:17

Having had a quick look at the last few pages and seen absolutely nothing unexpected, I think it's all just further proof that wherever you look, whatever the subject, the priority is to deflect from and downplay antisemitism. Even if it means breaking ranks with the Dear Leader Tit Whisperer who was forced to apologise for what he said (although I think he's now trying to square it by saying he's only sorry he did it on social media? Twat) and absolutely insisting you can disarm a dangerous knifeman on a stabbing spree by astral projection or something.

Doesn't matter how silly the position is. Even if it's as daft as saying the Met Commissioner shouldn't speak publicly about it when public figures publicly talk nonsense about an event of great public interest. Absolutely anything except the antisemitism.

Makes sense; Mothin Ali is the fucking deputy and he wants people to sue his own party rather
than have them face consequences for antisemitism, so the
party clearly isn't the priority there either.

Lalgarh · 04/05/2026 16:54

DARVO

Cathandkin · 04/05/2026 15:30

I think it's worse than that.
It's a deflection. It's to turn the perpetrator into the victim. These people have shown little sympathy or concern for the victims of antisemitism.
I find it very sinister.

There’s a few on here that would qualify.

Indeed, it's easy to criticise from the comfort of your sofa, with no knowledge or personal experience of detaining a violent offender.

I wish people who were ignorant at least had the humility to learn, rather than criticise.

I think anyone who criticises what the police have done here should all have their names entered into a raffle and their names pulled out to attend an incident and see what they'd do.

Sharon in Chichester? Congratulations, he's got an axe. Good luck! 😂

Police should not continue kicking a detainee. Ever. Definitely not in the head.

MR has stepped outside the rules for the police during purdah and should remain impartial. Not known a senior cop yet who wasn’t all for any party reducing tax on the wealthy.

What are you on about?
Nobody was continuing to kick a detainee.
MR didn't break purdah rules his letter was not campaign material. He was correcting the dangerous false narrative that ZP was spreading and reminding ZP of his legal duty as the leader of a political party not to spread inaccurate information and racial division.
No idea what you ment by your comment on tax which is completely irrelevant to this discussion so I'm guessing just a random squirrel thrown in there

"I am watching a clip of James O'Brien now. He is taking calls, largely from male callers with regional accents, many of whom have apparently served in the police. O'Brien is falling over himself to be sycophantic, and continually mentioning how he admires people who put themselves in harms way"

@Sheeled - Yeah, those bloody cops putting themselves in harms way every day to protect you and yours. Pricks.

Also, what's regional accents got to do with it? Your snobbery is showing love.

Imagine having a regional accent! Shudders.
