This is regarding appalling Bbc schools films around gender.

Very good article.

I'm not sure if this is a share token or not.

I'm clearly gender queer Hmm

It's worth watching all the films as some are quite eye opening.

Another GQ here! Or, you know, woman just living her life, believing in boring old biology.

AnyOldPrion · 08/09/2019 07:48

National broadcaster producing cult-like propaganda for schools. Another genuinely worrying sign. How did we get here?

Lumene · 08/09/2019 07:53

WTAF?

HandsOffMyRights · 08/09/2019 08:25

The BBC is one of the biggest offenders of all in terms of indoctrination.

Good to see The Times continuing its investigations into the cult of gender ID, even with the departure of Andrew Gillighan.

I'm a non- conformist on the Clark's questionnaire..

How can our national broadcaster be allowed to produce such propaganda? Unbelievable. And it’s glamourising the idea of gender id by saying it’s a really exciting question to answer, over a 100 gender ids!

Anyone have a share token btw?

KatvonHostileExtremist · 08/09/2019 08:31

Remember when this bullshit was just called your personality?

NeurotrashWarrior · 08/09/2019 08:35

Thanks empress.

You’re welcome.

Just watched the puberty clip and I notice only boys get wet dreams. Obviously girls don't actually get an erection and ejaculate but there's no balance that girls may also get dreams about or think about sex.

Remember when this bullshit was just called your personality?

I’m torn between the best descriptor:
Personality
Opinions
Outlook on life
Beliefs

youkiddingme · 08/09/2019 08:39

I would think a lot of people would be gender queer then.

golgiapparatus · 08/09/2019 08:39

100 genders Hmm

Or as we used to say, back in the 70s, 'a personality'.

NeurotrashWarrior · 08/09/2019 08:48

Sorry to add to my comment, That's a conversation to be had with older children though. i did notice a huge absence of the fact that girl's breasts grow at puberty.

It was all getting spots and period pain for the girls.

(I have an issue with the lack of education around breasts and their actual purpose.)

Kilbranan · 08/09/2019 08:51

Thanks for the share token. It’s good to see more and more people questioning this move towards the ever growing list of gender ids. Or as anyone with a brain would say personality. The comments are pretty much all condemning the BBCs approach on this

NeurotrashWarrior · 08/09/2019 08:52

I'm not even sure it's personality; I always see it as "stuff I like to do" and "stuff I like to wear" and "stuff i like to watch" (I've been accused of being 'Male' for loving sci fi and hating musicals.) Not even a part of me. My personality is how I then react to people and events and life, that I'm crap at making jokes but always get a joke very quickly. That I like to be quiet and also love to party. That I am very self conscious.

As soon as it's my clothes it becomes too materialistic.

I just had googled the PSHE teacher who told the child there are over 100 genders and Kate Daniels appears to be a female Andrew Moffat. She is a self styled PSHE expert who runs her own consultancy and was the consultant who worked with the BBC to make this series of films. She is also the "PSHE education expert" for the BBC series of films 'Mimi on a Mission', aimed at KS4.

Good article and glad to see Stephanie A-D asked for comment.

The comments are already shaping up well. For example:

I would laugh if it were not such a worry. They seem to have confused the word "gender" for personality. As in: a girl is a female body with any personality; not any old body with a "female personality"

It is so old fashioned, and incredibly confusing to give children a message that female or male stereotypes are what makes someone a girl or a boy.

Right now we have Primary school children, some of whom may turn out to be gay; some of who will not, being told their love of certain clothing, certain toys or activities means they are "actually" the wrong sex. These messages are taken very literally by autistic children, who represent a large chunk of those referred to the Tavistock GIDS. Where is the Safeguarding?

The BBC has a disproportionately large number of trans identifying employees, and they seem keen to use children to validate what is essentially a belief system. The BELIEF in "gender" which is separate from, and more important than, biological sex.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 08/09/2019 09:28

Great comment from Stephanie A-D in the article, really clear

This is made-up nonsense. People are free to identify as anything they like, but this does not change the reality that there are only two sexes

To suggest that being male or female is just a personal identity is false and will inevitably confuse children into believing that their biological sex is a choice

NeurotrashWarrior · 08/09/2019 09:39

Yes that's a great part of the article. Really speak it out.

Where is there internal consistency? Should they also say girls get erections and ejaculate from their laydee penises, and that boys grow breasts and have period pains?
