Anyone up for a Glasgow Gender Critical Coven?

I'm a relatively regular poster/longtime lurker here but have namechanged for this.

Following the posts about Glasgow Life's self-ID policy and the heroic poster who went in to challenge it, I was wondering id there were any existing GC groups in the city and if not, if any locals would be up for starting one. Partially for some real-life support from other women worried about the eroding of women's and girls' spaces, and partly to organise direct/online action for those who would be game. I personally am very game for a group in-person complaint to Glasgow Life/a repeat of Man Friday...

It's normally advisable for women to check out the other poster's history on here before making any kind of initial contact.

There are a couple of groups in Glasgow, not sure how to best make contact though - perhaps you could try contacting forwomen.scot or the OP of the other thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3567671-My-complaint-to-Glasgow-Life-re-sports-centres

There is also the talk with Meghan Murphy coming up in May - that'd be a good place to network with like minded women...

@BetsyM00 yes that makes sense, apologies - I've mentioned my job and various other outing details under my normal username and I'm depressingly scared of attacks if recognised. I actually posted on the original thread, which was what got me raging and wanting to find like minded women in Glasgow.

I've registered for the For Women talk just now, thank you for the link. Been going a bit out of my head not being able to talk about this with anyone, esp at work. Hope to see you there!

Completely understandable to name change to protect your personal details, but then it makes it harder for anyone else to know it's safe to contact you. Depressingly difficult to hook up these days :(

Glad you're coming to the Glasgow event though!
