Transgender Trend: Schools Guidance Safeguarding Concerns

Transgender Trend have published a document pulling together many of the safeguarding concerns/loopholes in lobby group guidance currently going into schools. It covers the main areas we have discussed many times here:

 Promising confidentiality to a child
 Parental Alienation
 Promoting use of off label drugs and minimising harms
 Erosion of sexual boundaries

I think it will be very helpful for anyone contacting their children's own schools, or other orgs (eg Guides) about their safeguarding policies, or pointing out these safeguarding flaws to MPs or councillors etc.

I got to page 2 before having to stop and rant.
FFS The only thing we got taught in safeguarding is that you can't promise confidentially and you have to pass it up to senior management.

Obviously you treat every child with empathy and care but you can't keep secrets. That's safeguarding.

Driving a coach and horses through statutory safeguarding protocols and nobody in authority calling a halt.

Parents need to be taking this into schools and telling heads that if anything goes wrong, liability will be theirs.

I see it's been sent to MPs etc. Wonder how long they'll manage to ignore it for?
