I was banned yesterday for hate speech. My twitter is just back up and running now. It was to do with the article about the teacher who was found watching porn at work so decided to butcher his whole family with various weapons before killing himself, making sure he killed his wife and eldest son first so no one could fight back.

I posted under a link something along the lines of go kill yourself but leave your innocent wife and child alone. I also posted a similar tweet with a link to the article, that one stayed up.

A male feminist friend on Twitter was also banned two days ago for a terfs comment. I think what basically happening is that the TRA are reporting every single post that could be construed as hate speech and twitter are letting them do it.

On this twitter thread, two women were suspended for twelve hours for saying Shon Faye is a man - apparently the truth is triggering. Plus these screenshots:

IMO telling anyone to "go kill themself" on any website for any reason should warrant a ban. What if you found out later he really did commit suicide?

Yes Ereshkal that's exactly what I was saying. The way he murdered them was so brutal using various things such as a hatchet and he made sure he killed his wife and eldest son first so no one could fight back. Suicidal women do not seem to behave like this, yet family brutal massacres happen more with supposedly mentally ill nen. Those children must have been so frightened and confused. His wife looks so sweet and a bit timid in the family photos. RIP her and her beautiful children.

FFS there's a difference between encouraging suicide and telling murderous men to not murder their entire family brutally before they do it. I'm normally the one saying people need a defense and that offenders can be rehabilitated. But someone who murders his children like that? I wish he'd killed himself before.

The best bit is the person calling her a terf telling her that the world does not revolve around her warped sense of entitlement.
