Half a stone off (or 3kg) in June

Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

My starting weight is 20 stone 4lbs. I want at least a stone off but ideally more as summer holiday is looming ever closer.

Target weight for end of June is 19stone 7lbs.

Can I join please. Have a 1.5yr old, and despite losing all the baby weight a couple of weeks after birth, I'm now back at the weight I was before giving birth!

Chocolate and bread are my main enemies. I've gotten pretty good with regards exercise in the last month or so, and yet I still put on another half stone. I could cry!

Starting weight is 14 stone 7lbs, and ideally overall I'd like to get down to 11 stone.

Hoping to lose 10lb in June? I think that should be achievable if I can stay away from junk!

I'd like to join too please. Currently 14st 5 and would,love to get into the 13's. I've lost 4 1/2 stone since last August but has stalled lately so could use a kick up the bum. Doing 16:8 and trying to cut back on carbs.

I've lost just over a stone since Christmas, now need half a stone to get me to target. No specific diet, just cut out all the crap and have soup for dinner most nights. Loads of walking too.

Can we pray for sunshine? I do so much better in nice weather.

Hello! Coming over from the previous thread, I end May on a 9.2lbs loss.

Will weigh in tomorrow morning for June’s starting figure, which I think will be 80kg. I’d like to target myself to losing 4.5kg through June!

Hope to see some more newcomers on the thread grin

Hi! I started on Monday and so far have lost 5lbs of what must be mostly water weight. I have a LOT to lose (8 stone!) so need to stay focused.

Thanks for setting this up cricketmum.

I’m definitely in and will post my start weight tomorrow. My main goal for June is to make it into the healthy BMI range, which means a loss of 2.2 kg.

It’s a goal I’ve had since the start of January, but I’ve been fixated on it for so long now, that it’s no longer particularly motivational.
Instead ever little set back has started to feel like a failure.

So this month, I will try not to let that happen, be kinder on myself and focus on what I’ve achieved so far. smile

I’m also considering hiding the scales until the end of the’s radical, but it just might work!

Can I join please? I’ve finally managed to shift the 7lbs I put on over Christmas but would like to lose another half a stone in time for the summer. I’ve been following 16:8 and mainly low carb which is helping me to stay at a consistent weight. Could do with a gentle push to lose the extra 7lbs....

I'd like to join too please. I'm on the 2019 Bunch thread, but it's really started to tail off recently and I miss the group motivation. I've already lost nearly 1 and half stones since January, but would ideally like to lose another 2 stones. It's going to be my 40th next year and I'm absolutely bloody determined that I'm going to look shit hot for it! grin

@TildaTurnip I have a lot to lose too. 4 stone 12 off so far and still 8 stone 2lbs to go. I find this thread so helpful because I'm breaking it down into mini goals rather than feeling overwhelmed by my target x

I am going to join if that's ok ... I gave up smoking 2 weeks ago, so have been eating and eating like my life depends on it. Decided yesterday, enough is enough and as well as the stopping smoking, I need to lose some weight.

Starting weight is 12 stone 9
Target weight is 9 stone 7

Weight loss for May was 11lbs.

Starting weight today: 16st 3lbs
Goal for 30th June: 15st 10lbs

My Goal for summer holidays (end of July): 15st 3lbs

Please can I join? I lurked on the May thread the last couple of weeks and was inspired by you all.

I will weigh tomorrow for starting weight. I'm cutting out snacking, going for twenty minute runs and having smaller portions.

For motivation I am going to weigh myself daily, post on here and I'm going to change the photo on my home screen on my phone for every 1lb I lose. I've saved a bunch of photos of clothes I would like to wear and I'm hoping seeing a new photo on my phone will be reminders to keep going. I know its a bit shallow but I've gone up a couple of dress sizes and some clothes just don't suit me anymore. I'd love to wear my old styles again.

I lost 10lbs in May but have just come back from a four course lunch so I think I might take today's weight as my starting point rather than tomorrow's. However, I didn't have any breakfast and won't eat until tomorrow now.
