Mid morning apparently, so I presume that means about 10am

Yes, assume it's Amazon again? I've just rewatched series one in preparation.

Ooh it is on Amazon, going to attempt to watch now, before everyone else wakes up!

Caítriona Balfe really is beautiful isn't she? Although when I read the books I always imagined Alex Kingston as Claire.

Watching it now!

Er, what am I, chopped liver?

Ask away. I enjoyed it but they deviated from the book a shade which always annoys. The Comte and Jared are well cast.

Or are you worried about spoilers?

Report
Fiderer · 10/04/2016 11:18

Haven't read the books and I watched it online so not sure what the spoiler etiquette is - usually once it's aired I think posters should avoid if they don't want spoilers.

But if online, dunno, am abroad & tying self in knots Grin

On the last thread for series one we just talked about it as soon as we'd seen it I think. I avoided the thread until I'd watched the most recent episode.

Infuriatingly it's on prime on my computer, but not on my expensive fire stick. How useless is that?!

Report
Redglitter · 10/04/2016 11:28

mango Apparently if you select ep16 of season 1 and fast forward you get ep 1.

Can't wait to see it! I'm in Ireland. It's on TV on Tuesday night. I'll have to try to resist finding it online until then.

Yes! Thank you red glitter!!! That's nap time sorted then!

She was back with Frank but am fairly sure last ep in S1 she was on a boat to France with Jamie. No Scotland, no stone touching.

Then ep1 S2 she's back in 1948 (?) with Frank.

Then back in France plotting with Jamie re the Jacobite rebellion.

Heh?

It was a ballache on our cheap fire stick too. I had to log out and in again before it would play.

They've started with her being found in 1948 and then flashes back. I liked the way they did the transition from modern times to the 18th century.

Report
ShowOfHands · 10/04/2016 11:36

It's just a reversed time frame. She's in the present day after 2 years missing. We know she hadn't been in the past for two years at the point she left for France so they're going back and telling you the story of what happened in France and how come she's home in 1948 again.

Does that make sense?
