Best tummy control jeans?

I've been looking at tummy control jeans. I don't wear jeans much so am looking for some really comfy ones, preferably mid rise, slim bootcut- I am apple shape and gather bootcut balances the shape.

Can anybody recommend any, size 12/14,indigo?

Thanks.

New Look do some tummy control ones. I bought some indigo bootcut ones in there a few months ago, I don't know if they're still in stock.

NYd - not your daughters jeans, John lewis sells them, the photos online are rubbish a photo of me would be better than their model. I'm apple shaped and similar size, you need to down size, so comfy. I have the ones they label as leggings/jeggings, they are a straight cut jean, very flattering either tucked in to boots or worn with converse, pumps, even heeled ankle boots. They have washed up very well, I wash them on a 30 with powder for coloureds. Other jeans I always want to take off as soon as i get home but not these.

Thanks, I like the sound of the ones at John Lewis, I'll take a look now.

Wow, they are way too expensive - especially as I am aiming to lose weight.

Back to the drawing board! I'll look at the New Look jeans ...

M&S Lana jeans, not specifically tummy control design, but cut to be more forgiving in the tummy area, are higher waisted, and thus hold everything in. At least they do on me anyway!

Do you specifically want tummy control or just higher waisted, keeping your tummy in check?

Topshop Martha's are a good mid-rise which are flattering. Boden straight leg jeans are also mid-rise and worth a look (there is a thread on here with discount codes). Also MiH Paris jeans - they are usually expensive but I found a pair in TK Maxx for £24.

Also, next do a range of higher waisted jeans.

I got a fantastic pair of dark blue straight legged jean with a highish waist (no builders bum on bending) from Sainsbury's for £12 or £14 the other week.
(And I must really like them as this is the second thread I've recommened them on and I don't usually have much to say on S&B Smile)

I'm not sure what I want ... comfortable jeans, definitely, with a highish waist but flattering.

I never find anything in TK Maxx when I go there ... Sad

Try Asda, I got a great pair of straight leg dark indigo ones from there. Called The Great Bum and Tum Straight Jeans and only £18. High rise and although they say straight leg I think it's a bit of a slim bootcut. Be worth going down a size and wearing around the house for a few hours to losen them up as mine are now a bit big despite fitting initially.

I found Next ones recently that were surprisingly good

Its worth trying Debenhams too, Rocha John Rocha have some tummy control jeans that are a reasonable price (£30-40) and were a great fit when I tried. I think they're along the same lines as NYDJ but for a way lower price tag. I was jeans shopping last week and think I must have tried on just about every pair on the high street!

I'm pretty sure that both New Look and Primark have a range in their jeans called 'shaper'. Worth a look if you're not wanting to spend too much £££££

I'll be in town on Friday so I'll have a look in all the shops mentioned, see what fits best.

Thanks.

I just bought some of the next lift and shape ones in indigo. They do some high waisted ones that sit on your waist properly. They are pretty flattering but they do cost £45.
