Any experience of sofas from Tesco Direct?

I have just seen this sofa in Ideal Home magazine and it looks exactly what I am after, for quite a bargain price.

Does anyone have any experience of buying a sofa from tesco? Will it be horribly uncomfortable / break after 2yrs?

No idea if there's anywhere I can test it out, so am off to investigate that now...

We bought a sofa about 4 months ago - wanted a specific style - saw one that fitted our requirements on sale with Tesco. I can't remember how much it was exactly, I'm thinking £300-400 but I think there was 20% off and we had a load of Tesco Club card vouchers. I wasn't expecting too much but have been pleasantly surprised. It is very comfortable, looks great and so far is coping very well with life in a kitchen diner with 3 children. It is a sage green type colour and even when I spilt a large glass of red wine over it on the second day, it didn't stain. I don't think it's going to last forever, I have to smooth out the fabric now and again, but its just as good as the (cheaper end of the M&S range) sofas that we have in the lounge and if it does get marked or saggy, for that price, I don't mind replacing it.

Thanks mandy, that's positive feedback! I think I have found a Tesco where we might be able to test it out, near to where DH works sometimes, so I just need to work out if I trust his judgement!
