I had my 20 week rescan yesterday and the baby was awkward again, but after I jogged on the spot for a few mins she did finally move where she was meant too! And all is fine with her

Omg I have woke up today with appendix pain and theres not much online regarding it during pregnancy other than you might need an operation before 20 weeks, well that's me out then! I'll see how it goes today. Not sure if its the baby pushing on it or something else

@Indigogirl88 might be worth ringing your midwife?
I've had my appendix out but get pain there when pregnant so it might be nothing sinister but always worth checking with your appendix.

You do get more pain on your right coz your uterus does lean slightly to the right (coz of other bit getting in the way on the left) are you sure it's your appendix? Xxx

I stupidly just picked up my very heavy (almost 4 stone) DS to help him onto the toilet quickly and now I am a little nervy about baby. This scan can't come quick enough.

19 + 6 today, going for my anomaly scan at 15.50. I feel a bit detached from baby atm, haven't seen them in 4 weeks, and don't think I'm feeling movements. I kind of expected not to feel anything early as I'm FTM and overweight, but I'm just scared that somethings not right, so I'm not letting myself get too excited.

I'm in Northern Ireland so restrictions now allow us to visit people outdoors, saw my brother and sister-in-law yesterday for the first time in a couple of months, and felt like they were more excited than me!

Hoping to see a healthy baby today, and that will make me let go of a lot of the worry. I've been looking at baby stuff, but haven't wanted to buy anything until I get past this scan.

Can anyone empathise here, and how did you shake the worry?

@EllieGolightly I completely empathize, I had a panic attack on the table waiting for the doctor to come into the scan today! I couldn't breathe and was crying 🤦🏼‍♀️

I felt the exact same, like nothing was happening and just panicked, and today he was absolutely fine. 💙

I don't think we will ever be able to shake the anxiety but maybe try and keep busy, I listened to a lot of music and exercised a lot this week.

@EllieGolightly nothing to suggest as such as I'm in the same boat, my scan is tomorrow and feeling the same so sending a hand hold

I'm fairly certain it's my appendix but I do still have mine in. It felt like a twang that has then given me gip all day. Seems to have eased a bit now so I'll see how it goes tbh. I'm at the hospital tomorrow so I'll see what they say

Congratulations to those who have updated on new scan pic they are lovely.
My due date is meant to be October 22nd but I am having an elective c section so will be 2 weeks prior around beginning of October.
I will be 18 weeks tomorrow.
Anyone who is going for a scan good luck and keep us all updated.
