Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

Hi mrsjkerry! 5 weeks tomorrow (eek!) Very excited and nervous! Due November 9th according to the nhs site. You're definitely not the only worried one :)

Hello darcy and Ethel. Congratulations! Have you been to the doctors yet? What were they like?

I haven't yet, I'm going to call them today and see if I need to see him or not. How about you?

Yes I probably should've phoned! They told me they don't deal with it in the surgery and I should self refer myself to the hospital! 😄 waiting anxiously for my midwife letter...I did it on Monday so not holding out much hope of seeing it before the end of the week!

Morning girlies, I'm jumping on!
Age 32, first ever bfp 😊 excited but so scared lol. 5 weeks exactly today! Due 9th Nov (like you darcy!)
Phoned midwife Monday who said to phone back at 6 weeks+
Appointment won't be til I'm 8 weeks 😳
Gonna book an early 8 week scan coz I can't cope haha I need to SEE my little seed!!
I've had crampy pains in my very low tum constantly for a couple of weeks but not hugely feeling it this morning, trying not to panic!

Misty I am 5 weeks tomorrow 😊 I still have this weird stitch like feeling in my side. It's been here for a week or two now! It worries me that it's there but it would worry me if it went away too as it's one of the first things I noticed 😂

I know what you mean! Mine is a very low down pinchy kind of pain right above my foof, I've had it since about 7dpo coz initially thought it was af cramps but as it went on, I was thinking hmmm it doesn't quite feel like af! And it wasn't 🙌🏼
I have had it every day since and it has come back a little bit since I wrote that last post, but not as noticeable as normal. It's mad what we feel and think! If I thought I was aware of my bod in the 2ww that's nothing compared to how I feel now lol every flicker, twinge, stretch, I feel everything haha

I'm ok in the mornings, it's the afternoons about 1:30pm after my lunch when I'd normally be on my 4th turbo coffee of the day that my eyes begin drooping and I'm half asleep at my screen! I miss caffeine 😂

DarcyParty · 09/03/2017 13:33

Misty B, I know exactly the kind of cramp you mean, I'm having it myself! It's weird that the womb is getting busy in there making placenta and all that jazz. Feels like little workmen in there! Haha

It totally is! Making our little seed's home nice and comfortable for 9 months 😍
I'd rather feel things than not I think.
Although what I don't like the feeling of is ewcm right now... keeps making me panic and I run to the loo to check and nope, nothing 😂 I wonder if this worry will ever subside!

Afternoon ladies. I'm pretty tired too! Trying to have an active pregnancy if I can so went out for my usual power walk at lunch but I'm getting out of breath so much more easily! And if I get hungry I need to eat like immediately or I get shaky and dizzy!
Hope you're all having a good day

Oh girls I'm constipated 😂🙈 like honest now this is not cool lol I'm drinking 2l of water a day and eating healthy food etc but every time I "go" I'm sat there for ages and I'm too scared to push coz I'm scared I'll push my little seed out. I know that sounds stupid but I can't help it. And when I finally went earlier, there was a bit of blood on the paper (sorry tmi) and I'm praying it was from the "back" rather than the "front" if you know what I mean! That was only 15 mins ago and now I'm in Tesco and I'm terrified of going home and checking in case there's more omg 😩🙈

Hi ladies can I jump on? I'm 30, first time pg, I wil be 5 weeks tomorrow, got my bfp last Friday, due 12 November according to NHS website and I have my booking appointment scheduled for 21 March. I am feeling very nervous / apprehensive / scared and just praying for a healthy and happy pregnancy!

Congratulations to you all :)

@Misty - hopefully its from the other end or light spotting which I have read is perfectly normal.

In terms of symptoms it is a relief to hear that everyone else has had cramping - its a bit unsettling at first isn't it? I have that stitch like feeling that someone mentioned - I keep googling and apparently its all completely normal.

Ethel - you mentioned being breathless, I have that too! Does anyone has asthma? I am wondering should I up my inhalers ...

Very exciting time for us all Smile once these first few weeks are over we will look back and wonder what we were worrying about!

Misty I found that eating some lentils and more fruit solved this problem big time!!

Hi moo! Welcome. I am also 5 weeks tomorrow but due November 10!! I am the one with a constant stitch in my side..

In other news, I think a wisdom tooth may be trying to come through. I'm at parent's eve tonight and it's agony trying to smile. I don't know whether this is dangerous for pregnancy? Also I know you get free dental care if you are pregnant but you need to have seen a midwife first!! Anyone else got mouth problems? 😄

Hi ladies, can I join too please? I'm 5 weeks today, due on 9th November. I have been lurking on the November board but I've been too scared to join in case I jinx anything - I can't seem to stop worrying that something may go wrong.

It would also be nice to be on a smaller more close-nit group after coming from a lovely TTC group who genuinely care about each other that I've spent the last few months on.

Other than being a little tired, the odd cramp (usually around tea time), needing to wee constantly, bloating and occasional background nausea I seem to be doing well so far. Actually now I've listed them I have more than I thought!

Congratulations to everyone on the thread!

Mrsjkerry I think swollen/sore gums is a common symptom. I have a troublesome tooth which seems to have been playing up a bit more over the last couple of weeks but it comes and goes. Hopefully it isn't the start of wisdom tooth problems for you.

Misty I completely get the worry of pushing the little seed out. The same thought has popped into my mind a few times - I'm sure it takes more than that though to dislodge anything. Have you found anymore blood? Fx it's because you're a bit bunged up rather than anything to worry about.

Hi girlies, nope no more thank god, I'm praying it was a bit from the back lol 😂

tonks we are exactly the same, I'm 5 weeks today and due Nov 9th too :)

And I know what you mean about the November board, mrsjkerry and I have been on a lush ttc thread for a few weeks and everyone is so nice, I found the big ante-natal boards too much 🙈 and that's why mrsjkerry made this thread as we got our bfps around the same time and can stay in touch :)

This is looking to be a lovely board too, I'm feeling happier already!xx

Hi everyone, I'm following mrsj and misty from the other board too- hope that's ok☺️ xx more of a watcher!!

Five weeks today- also very nervous about every move I make! Misty I have had a tiny dot of blood about 3 times when have wiped (different times different days) but have read about it and it can be quite normal in the first 12 weeks apparently xx

Oh I'm glad to hear about the spotting... any thought of blood makes me terrified!x

Misty I hadn't considered it being dislodged but I am now!!!! 😂

Yes charl blood can be normal. Especially if you've had sex. I haven't seen any whatsoever other than brownish discharge a week ago...

Welcome everyone :) I love how we have similar dates! I'd love to see this thread aroung the 9th of Novemeber haha!

I 100% understand the worry of dislodging anything. Before my bfp I was adamant you can't hurt a baby during sex, but when me and the boyfriend were getting jiggy the other day I could help but keep checking for blood Confused he wasn't amused! Grin

MistyBxx · 09/03/2017 20:18

Ohhh sorry mrsj lol as if we need anything else to worry about. Honest I could list my irrational fears on here and I swear you'd laugh 😂 I'm terrified of everything but just 2 weeks ago (when I must have been fertilising/implanting!!!) I was downing wine and dancing my head off in a kings of leon gig, smoking 20 a day, drinking cup after cup of strong coffee, and went on the hen party and didn't even take it easy, I was drinking like an 18 year old and had 2 McDonald's and 2 kebabs in 3 days 😔 oh the guilt 😩😭
And now I'm worried about having a poo 😂😂😂

How does everyone feel about having sex? I got my BFP on 9/10 DPO and we've been too scared to since finding out, DH more so than me (incase we dislodge him). So we haven't actually done it since FW. I think the more time that passes the scarier it's getting.
