Hello again Broody. :)

Congratulations :)

Christmas morning I got a faint positive, it wasn't a very faint one, but it was less than the control line. But it was definitely there.

This morning I have done 2 more tests and both are positive. :)

A bit about me.
engaged to gorgeous bloke.
No previous children
first time I've ever seen a positive pg test
scared that it's so early, hoping it sticks where it is.
baby probably due around 6th Sept
Symptoms so far, pins in my breasts (so sore) nausea but not been sick yet, wind, and a bit tired. Before the test I thought I was pg, and tried to stop myself thinking it. The night before I tested my stomach was all sparkly.

I'm growing a person. Xmas Grin

This is my first pregnancy and have no idea what's going on. Just posted another thread as worrying myself silly!

Boobs very sore and feeling sick. Think due date will be 3 September..

ooh how exciting bethhh! having one baby is easy (when u have more u realise just how easy!) so you'll be fine. when u meet the midwife she'll take you through everything. until then, get yourself some folic acid from boots (if u havent already)

can i add things tasting strange 2 the list? i thought it was my cold, til 1 morning when i woke up with a very strong metalic taste in my mouth, which only lasted an hour or so. food just doesnt taste as nice as it used 2. and my nightly hot choc is no longer

Congrats everyone! It's such a weird and exciting feeling.
I tested on Christmas eve too (First Response as I'm not due until tomorrow) and got a faint positive. I've been testing everyday since then and the faint line is getting progressively darker.
This is going to be my 1st baby and we've been TTC for the last 20 months. Yes, it took us ages and I am praying that nothing happens to wipe the silly grins off our faces.

I've been having lower abdominal pains as if AF is just about to arrive, and this is making me worried. However, I read that this sometimes happen.

Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months for all of us. Grin

broody/jimmijams I think it's natural to worry about it sticking. I've been having weird stomach ache things too. Oh I am not due on for a couple of days, tomorrow is 4 weeks since last period, but I'm quite irregular, although it's usually slightly longer than the 4 weeks, however I just felt pg and HAD to test! It wasn't 'very' faint on Christmas day, definitely there, and it was darker this morning, so I'm taking that as a good thing. I'm not sure if I will test again or not. Maybe on NYE or something. My sister and a really close friend know, other than that no-one. I think had I left it a while long and been nearly 5 weeks I may have told family, but as it's 4 weeks tomorrow I haven't(other than my sis). Thank you :)

Congrats Bethh :) yep, really sore boobs here, and nauseous.

pamsie congrats to you too. First response for me on Christmas day, FR and a tesco one today, all 3 positive. Will keep things crossed that yours is sticky too, can't imagine having waited that long(I hope that has come across right and not nasty in any way). There are 4 of us in the thread, 3 have lower abdominal pains of some sort. I have read about it being an early pg sign. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it's a natural thing for me.

I keep touching my boobs to see if they are still sore!!! LOL. I just keep thinking, I tested so early, which is great in one way as I now know I am pg, and not in another as it's so damn early, am just trying to think what happens will happen and hopefully I will get my miracle.

I'm taking the waking in the middle of the night hungry and nauseous and unable to sleep because of it to be a good sign!

Yep, this is the second time in a couple of days. I have to be up in 2.5hours, I need my sleep!

Couple of biscuits down my neck, and I'm going to try go back off in a minute.

Heya lissy was our 1St month ttc, still cant believe it! So glad there r a few of us who already have little uns, am starting 2 think we're crazy wanting 3 undeR the age of 5!!

We probably are a bit mad. I have had three under 5 for just over a year now and it has been fine. Not much harder than two although ds2 is very laid back baby. I'm hoping now that one more wont make a big differemce. We can support each other through pregnancy with tiny ones. Not overly looking forward to that.Smile

Can I join too?

Took test on Boxing Day and was surprised to see it was positive as first month of trying - due 04/09/11. This will be our dc2 and our ds is 22 months. I had a mmc back in August so keeping my fingers crossed for this one. No symptoms as yet, which I know is common, but makes it hard to relax. Just got to keep thinking positive.

Good luck everyone!
